Spaces - Hollywood Entertainment & Production Center, Los Angeles CA

Without a doubt, SPACES Hollywood ranks as one of the worst possible choices for office space. The primary issues are not just with the property itself, but rather the staff and organizational policies. Anaisa Avila, who labels herself a community manager, appears more focused on filling vacant offices and making commission than on offering quality service. She is known for delaying responses, especially as you approach the automatic lease renewal date, and once your lease is auto-renewed, they hold you to it without a shred of remorse.

Security, or the lack thereof, poses a serious concern. I was robbed of over $10,000 worth of goods, and SPACES took no responsibility for the loss. Luckily, I had additional insurance to cover the financial setback. The thief managed to infiltrate the building on three consecutive days, spotlighting the management's shocking negligence.

Adding to the list of grievances, the office space frequently experiences lengthy internet outages, sometimes lasting as long as a week, making the workspace virtually useless. Don't anticipate any form of compensation for these disruptions; their support is nonexistent on that front.

Pricing is another murky area. In calling other SPACES locations, I discovered that the rates can vary significantly, pointing to inconsistent pricing policies. The Hollywood location, in particular, seems to be managed by individuals better suited for running a pricing scam than a professional office space.

The parking lot is not a haven of safety, either; muggings have occurred. The neighborhood is rife with danger, teeming with homeless encampments and dubious characters. A notorious drug hotel next door exacerbates the unsafe environment; it's not uncommon to see body bags being carried out.

Given these myriad issues, I can no longer justify staying in this space and strongly urge you to consider other options.

I'm so grateful a friend recommended Spaces to me as a co-working option. I more even more delighted with how friendly the sales team was and the reception staff goes beyond expectation! Pam, Darius, and Anaisa are my new work besties and I look forward to seeing their smiling faces every time I come to the office. The facilities are beautiful & clean and I highly recommend this location.

Spaces in Hollywood has the best receptionist team ever, they all have an amazing personality and they go above and beyond to help with any questions and concerns. Pamy, Darius and Anaiz all are amazing people persons. Paul the sales manager is another amazing individual who you will always see with a big smile on his face and greeting everyone.

We've had offices here since 2019 and absolutely love it! The facility is gorgeous, the rooftop is a great escape, and the location is perfect. But what makes this place special - is the staff! They've made us feel like family from day one. They're always available, super accommodating, quick to respond, and most of all - always smiling! They also have yummy treats:)

Amazing staff and the center is absolutely gorgeous! Pam and Darius really are the greatest reception team! They will go above and beyond to help you in all your needs. The amenities that come with a lounge membership are phenomenal! I’m never leaving this space.

We are renting 2 office spaces in 1800 vine. We haven't had any issues. Receptionists have been helpful and are super nice and friendly. I love the lounge spaces and outdoor spaces. I often go missing to hang out on the roof. They also have rentable spaces for events. I hear a gym is coming soon so I'm excited.

I moved locations six months ago, and made it abundantly clear on the phone with them that I would be transferring services from one location to the other. However, I have been getting charged for this location and my new location ever since, even though I have told them repeatedly over the phone that I was moving locations and wanted to transfer. Now I am being taken to collections for over a thousand dollars because of what the rep on the phone is calling “miscommunication” on their part. I’ve tried to talk to their management repeatedly about this and haven’t been able to resolve anything, so do not listen if they respond to this review that I should email them or raise some nonsense Help desk case. Do not choose this location.
