their hot salsa is different, so good
open late until 3am
wonderful
Quick stop on our travels out of San Jose. The tacos were yummy we were super hungry after our flight!
Something about the tacos is delicious! Haven't really tried anything else but the crunchy is a must. It's pretty packed here they stay open pretty late so you get your weirdos and the after party drunks. Your downtown so expect the unexpected.
If you love tacos it is the one of the best places to try.
It is pretty close to SJSU.
Open time is 8 pm.
Cash only, good food, the cripy tacos are more like a tostada but still really good, they get hella busy so expect a wait, good spot for late night drunken eats
Excellent tacos for an excellent price. The taco truck pulled in a little later than 8pm so we thought it wasn’t coming lol, but just wait a little bit and it’ll pull up
I've had late night craving for fried plantains with sweet condensed milk. I call to to pre-order and NO ONE EVER ANSWERS. I stand there and call and no one even acknowledged the phone. I didn't even hear it ring. 1/10 customer service definitely sucks. I've come 3 days in a row. 3 days in row I've left and went to food truck down the street Crazy Burrito.
Totally worth it. The pollo tacos are the best. Both the soft and crispy tacos. Don’t forget to ask for the orange sauce, it makes the tacos even better.
FOOD POISONING - Came here with a group of 7. At least 4 members came down with an upset stomach within a few hours. I’ve eaten at many place in my lifetime, about 1% of which didn’t handle their food properly. Sadly, this place has become one of the sketchy places to eat.
I came at 1: 45 and they close at 3: 00 a.m. There was a guy who came who was Mexican to their taco truck and they served him at 1: 45 I came at 1: 47 I am a white man and they said they were closed and then I called them on it and said why did you serve him but 2 minutes later you wont serve me and you don't close till 3: 00 a.m. They hesitated for a long time and I said why is it because I'm white wheto. Then one of the guys said yes confirming that they are racist and they refuse me service because I'm white. So I won't be going there again don't go here especially if you're not Mexican like them they turned downcustomers based on that they are white
3.5 stars. I usually come here for the Big Crispy Tacos! Not a bad deal. 3 huge tacos WITH AVOCADO! They're really generous with the meat too. Seriously loaded. I recommend the pastor.
This visit, I tried the Nacho Fries and Peanut Butter Horchata. The nacho fries aren't as good as La Vic's honestly, but still pretty decent. I especially loved the texture of the fries! A little crispy on the outside, with that fluffy potato-y texture inside. And the peanut butter in the horchata? GAME CHANGER. If you love peanut butter, you gotta try this. It was really smooth, flavorful, and unique. Not chalky at all. They put a lot of ice though.
Normally there's college students swarming this food truck, but I was surprised to see all the tables empty at 10: 30 PM. I get a closer look.the tables were COVERED in bugs. No wonder everyone was taking their food to go.
Man was at the window no one to take my order yelled excuse like 10x was standing there for 5 min no notice horrible service
Cash only no Venmo as of May, 22. OMFG THIS PLACE IS DELICIOUS. I have been going there non atop since I’ve found it and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for street food.
P.s. Get their orange sauce and you’re welcome.
This is the freshest food available in san jose past 10pm - 2am. Which is my vampire schedule lunchtime.
The $1 for mango salsa is worth it.
.
Took 30 min for one quesadilla to go. And it had 60% meat. Used to be amazing, but now it disappointed me 3 times in a row. The guy also told me to go sit down after I asked what I happened to my order after 25 min. Terrible service and quality. Sorry but never coming back. Thanks for the 3 years of service tho.
Had 3 crispy tacos for $10 and it tastes so good! I’m not gonna complain anything for such at this price in the Bay Area! The only thing is the waiting for the food thingy is kinda long!
I eat from this place for years, now 3 tacos are $10, not cheap anymore, even no sauces and salsa bar to add, it takes 1 hour wait for 6 tacos, crazy, will not come back again.
This place has the worst costumer service, I've decided to come for the second time and besides waiting 45 min for 1 hot dog and 2 tacos, they forgot my tacos.
I ended up throwing my food away after seeing that they handle food with their bare hands which is disgusting.
Someone should keep a close eye on them.
We went here to order the fried plantains. Didn't like it much. There was a lot of wait to get the order. There are few tables where you can sit and eat.
Good spot for late at night. Most of them are young generation. The line is long and the wait time is over 1 hour to get the food.
