Dr. Kim is an incredible surgeon, my pain is completely resolved after my discectomy and I have had zero issues since the surgery. His PA-C Davina is also wonderful, she is the sweetest, most accommodating provider I have ever come in contact with, she made sure that I was well-informed and well-taken care of before/during/after, my surgery and I am forever grateful for the way she communicated with hospital staff on my behalf to help my stay/operation run smoothly. However, their office and office staff is an absolute nightmare. The wait times, surgery coordinator, and billing departments seem to have no idea what they are doing which led to a mess getting my operation scheduled and missing information when the surgery was submitted to insurance resulting in large (unnecessary) bills and hours on the phone with insurance. Overall, the doctors at this establishment are top tier, but be prepared to deal with everything else being a bit if a mess.

My experience at Spine and Brain Institute has very good! Dr. Raiszadeh is a very good doctor and he is up front with any information he has for me. I am so happy to have him as my doctor!

I have made several attempts to schedule an appointment. Guess they're too busy! If you cannot bother returning a phone calls, I question the professionalism. Making an appointment shouldn't be pain, when I'm in pain.

Stephanie as always is very professional and thorough with her questions and attention to details. She listens attentively, and I never feel that I ask a dumb question. She recaps our visit and explains next steps very clearly so that I understand.

Very slow & difficult to work with these people. I would not recommend using them for any matter or case.

I had a very good experience with Sophie, the doctors PA. She answered all my questions showed me my x-ray of my neck, and told me I needed surgery to fix my problem. She was very kind, and tried to explain to me I would be OK. She is a beautiful lady. I’m very grateful.

I love this office. The doctors, Ramin, PAs Sophea and Stephanie and staff are all very caring, professional and helpful. I sincerely appreciate everything Kevin, Alexis do to help me anytime I need assistance. The receptionist at the Alvarado office is also very pleasant, patient and helpful.
Sometimes the wait is long but the doctor are very good so I don't mind waiting.

So this review is 5 years late, but it might be better because of that. Dr. Raiszadeh and his team did a triple fusion on my lower lumbar region in 2019. I was really at my wits end after exhausting all other measures and not being able to work or participate in any leisure activities I enjoyed. My life was utterly joyless plagued by constant high levels of pain. He essentially gave me my life back with his excellent work. I would highly recommend this organization if you require back surgery or other procedures. I really can’t say enough good things here.
