Sport Clips Haircuts of Walnut Creek - Encina Grande

Boyfriend went in on my behalf and lost more hair than I have ever seen after 5 years living together.
He said that he wanted just a little off and it turned out to be what he had in the navy MANY years ago. He couldn’t even comment on the special treatment massage because he was that upset. Well a $40 lesson to tell him to continue cutting his hair every month with his Flowby. On a good note she did a good job on his eyebrows.
This was on 8/29/23 a little after 4 pm. He said that he wouldn’t go back again.

Great place, everyone is super friendly, and they have a great MVP deal you have to check out.

Been to this location several times, this time was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

I came in looking to cut my very long hair short. I told the lady what I wanted, a 1 all the way to the top on both sides with a hard part on the right side. None of that was listened too in any regard.

She cut off about 6-7 inches of my hair abruptly without even saying anything to me before, she didn’t use scissors rather used the clippers to saw through my hair, which was painful to say the least.

She then continued cutting the top of my hair with clippers, not bothering to pull out real scissors until the very end.

A haircut that should have taken 30 minutes when properly handled took maybe ten minutes. I go to sports clips for the care they put in.

This lady belongs at great clips or out of a garage at best.

I felt extremely disrespected, disappointed and upset with my haircut that cost me 40$.

Been here several times over the past year and every time it gets progressively worse. Anyone seeking to have quality haircut should steer away. They won't listen to your input, all that matters is their little paper printout and a number / size of trim attachment. Absolutely horrific and unpleasant experience, never coming back.

Came in about an hour before closing just after 5, the hair lady was very angry when I walked in there was no one waiting only one person was getting their hair cut at the time. And she said “Welcome in did you make an appointment” keep in mind there’s a giant sign on the door that said no appointments necessary. Well she said they only take appointments at sports clips and then when I pointed out the sign she admitted she just wanted to go home around 5: 45. Ever since Covid I had been getting my hair cut at home. I had decided to go to sport clips because I used to go there as a kid and loved it. I Guess i will have to keep getting them at home because when you get off work at 4: 30 and get there at 5 after 5 it’s too late for them to cut hair anymore. Anyways I hope this review stops someone from wasting their time trying to get a cut here. 0/10 customer service

Great haircut as usual plus the MVP experience is worth the few extra bucks and very relaxing. Wasn't any wait when I went just after opening on a weekday morning but it's nice that you can check in online when it is busy so you don't have to wait awhile.

Walked in and got a great cut from Shay! Loved the details like hot towel and head massage. I’ll be back!
