I don’t usually write reviews but I went in asking for a very specific haircut showed a pic asked for a low fade specified do not give me a bowl cut or push my sides up high the lady gave me the most ridiculous bowl cut haircut I have ever had in my entire life I now get flamed at work and can’t go out without a hat confidence levels dropped 8points wouldn’t get another cut here. I added a pic for reference to show how my hair usually looks and how it looks now I look like dumb and dumber.

Probably got my worst haircut of all time today. I asked the barber to give me a fade on the side and I now look like I enlisted for the navy.

I received one of the worst haircuts i have ever got in my life, they left me with two patches, and one section still needed to be cut, it was done wayyyy to fast, they seriously didn’t know how to cut hair, could’ve payed less somewhere else and would’ve got a cut 10x better. Will never be returning.

I went in to the SportClips expecting a normal hair cut but I actually had an amazing experience. My hair stylist was Jennifer and she did an amazing job. She was an awesome stylist, confident in what she was doing, and very professional. I would highly recommend!

They rush haircuts soo fast mine only took 15 minutes to complete and the top of my hair was never cut. I told her I wanted it shorter before she even began the haircut

Not only was Terry condescending, but she stated she only provides military discounts on a service, not to buy products. Hmm didn't know that military service was only a la carte. Smh. Won't be back.

I checked in with a specific stylist. When I arrive they tell me it was her lunch time. First bad experience. I then ask if someone else could cut my hair, they say yes. My stylist comes out and receives a walk-in. Then, when it’s time to pay I see tipping options from 20% to 50%! I’d rather pay 50% more and not get hustled. Guess when I’m going to any franchise?

Been going to her a few times now and she treats your head like a literal art canvas, best haircuts I've had in my entire life!

I recently took my son to Sport Clips Haircuts of La Jolla, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Employee XiuXin attended to us, and I must say I was quite disappointed with her service. Not only did she rush through the haircut in about 5-6 minutes, but she also displayed a dismissive attitude when I requested a slight adjustment to the length. This lack of customer service and attention to detail left me quite dissatisfied.
Having visited the salon a few times before, I've witnessed other workers taking their time and providing meticulous services with pride. However, my encounter with XiuXin was far from that standard. Even though I wasn't happy with the outcome of my son's haircut, I still paid for the service.
I hope that the management of the salon takes note of this review and considers addressing the issues with XiuXin's approach. It's disappointing when a place that has provided good experiences in the past falls short due to one employee's poor performance. I believe that constructive feedback like this can help the salon maintain its reputation and provide quality services to its customers.

I have gone here 4 times and once they cut it decently well which is why I gave 2 stars. They have issues with blending your hair every time and you will walk out with a mushroom head. Over priced for awful haircuts.

I have been going to sport clips for many years.

Long story short, the person cutting my hair said I looked like Hitler. Really I should have just walked out at that point. I waited a week to post this because maybe I thought it would hurt less, but it doesn't. He was the meanest nastiest person that ever lived.

Never going back. Ever.

Show Sing always does an excellent job cutting my hair. She has great attention to detail. I always look better coming out than when I went in. I’ll keep coming back to have her cut my hair.

Really bad barber non is competent and please for the love of god do not listen to their recommendations. If you decide to go there be really specific about what you want and maybe you will like your haircut.

New client MVP cut was $37 vs normal $42. Confusing because the signs say otherwise behind them. Shampoo and (very hot water) head massage lasted like 30 seconds. Was in and out of there super fast like I was on a conveyor belt. Haircut was mediocre. Not giving one star because people were nice-ish.

I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by Sarah, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I am not one that cares too much about haircuts or the outcome but last time I was here it was a HORROR show. The lady (very sweet) barley spoke english and the communication with her for that reason was impossible. It seemed as I was her first haircut ever, she had no idea what she was doing. She would forget to cut one side and I had to tell her/remind her to do the other side, asked her to scissor cut it and she did machine cut, etc. I would have been better off cutting it myself, SERIOUSLY! Do not get a haircut here! She was very sweet though, but never getting a haircut here again: (

UCSD Students don't come here, Salon 101 does a better job for cheaper and they are on campus

Stylist wasn't rude and did an ok job, but it was clear she was trying to rush me in and out as fast as possible. She began cutting my hair before I was even finished explaining how I wanted it cut, and she was adamant about telling me how I should get my hair cut rather than how I wanted it cut. I didn't care that much until I got to the register and was rung up for $31 with a $7 minimum tip option, and for that price I was definitely expecting better service. Ended up costing $38 for a 10 minute mediocre haircut; I've gotten better service for half that price. After checking out the back of my head at home, it looked the same as before, and the main reason I went in was to get my back and sides trimmed.

Hair stylist friendly professional in out less time than other places love fast service easy to booked appointments ;I recommend special if you are always on fast pace environment.

Show Sing was my stylist and did an amazing job in cutting my hair. I would recommend this location to anyone!
