Spring Garden Chinese Restaurant, Ventura CA

We came from out of town and ate dinner here after my Niece and Nephew's piano recital. Parking was a breeze, lots of room in the shared lot. The staff was very nice and courteous from start to finish (they continued to check in during the course of the meal). We had a party of 11.and out of that 11 we had 6 kids with us, so it kept the servers on their toes. They did a good job keeping up with orders, changes, filling drinks, extra napkins, etc. We ordered a lot of different menu items and the food was very good - as good or better than what we are used to at our favorite Chinese place at home. What really made it great was the quality of the meat they used. Sometimes I get gristle or chewy bits in pieces of chi ken or beef - not here! Every piece of chicken and beef I had was tender and perfectly cooked. I'm sure we'll be back again!

My family went in to eat while I was at work, they brought me food home… for the ridiculous price, I thought I was getting good food, it was absolutely terrible, so chewy. I felt like I was eating gum.

Extreemly pricey and not enough employees so if there is someone eating there it may take twice as long as they say for your togo order. BUT.they are the only place in the county that makes Chow Fun and my boyfriend says its good. So.can't really complain. The lady is nice too.

Was looking at the views customers wondering why it didn't have better views because the place is great I've been going there years Make my mission to go at least 3 times a week to get my favorites like chicken rice and And the rice noodles I like mines with chicken but they have A 3 meat when it comes with chicken pork and shrimp I can't eat shrimp I mostly just get chickenIt is so addicting it's delicious can't stop eating itI just love the place so much and and when I come in the people are very nice I don't I've been had a time to where I ordered and messed up on a order and I came back because I forgot to tell them no shrimp And even though I made a mistake on telling them I didn't tell themThey corrected my plate anyway with no problemI'm so sorry for the people that had certain problems at the place but I love it I dedicate But this place is not no dollar Chinese food place this place is real Chinese authentic authentic cuisine And guess what it's worth every penny

Their food is good but the main older waitress looks at me funny if I ask if there is a military discount. You can say no. Quite pricey, last choice for me.

I have been a huge fan of Chinese food since I was 20 yrs of age. I have munched on every caliber of their food since. This restaurant is a typical eatery. Except it's located in a shopping center. Walmart is the major attraction to be honest. Their food competition is a Carl's Jr.within walking distance of the entrance. When you step in there is an entrance. The interior is pretty nice with booth's and a pinch of Chinese furnishings. I have included a few pictures. I ordered "Fried rice and shrimp.and Fried wontons. I was the only person inside dining. There was no other customers.sadly most of their business comes from "take_out"! My meal taste pretty good. I do believe it could have been better? Over all I was pleased.

I placed an order online over an hour before my requested pickup time, then showed up 15 mins AFTER my pickup time and they had nothing for me. They hadn't bothered to even look at their computer for new orders and then tried to blame it on the fact that they "didn't get a phone call. " They offered no apologies and accepted zero responsibility for their mistake. They were completely rude and unprofessional

Love the food at Spring Garden! Have dined in and gotten to-go, and it's always delicious! I'm a huge fan of all the soups and usually have a hard time deciding which one to get between hot and sour, chicken corn, wonton, and sizzling rice. Honestly, I usually get (at least) two! BBQ pork noodles are A+, and really everything is good. Can't go wrong!

Absolutely love this place. I don't get Chinese food anywhere else. The owner is so friendly and the food is always, always delicious. I highly recommend:)

Spring Garden is a great restaurant! The staff is super nice, and the order is always right! Their food is really good. We usually get Kung pao vegetarian chicken and bean curd country style. Love all of their vegetarian options!

From the first moment you come to that restaurant they give you a comfortable feeling. Very comfortable crew, it is a good place to pass time with friends and colleagues or with your date.delightful cooking, qualified chef, competitive pay and professional service. Highly recommended.
