Spring Lake Park reviews
18 I just did a quick stop here and was amazed by this park. Will definitely come back to explore more. Looks so beautiful.
Update
There's a children's science discovery center in the park as well. It was great and kids loved it
Beautiful, well kept and a good atmosphere. This place is just outside of Santa Rosa and it is worth the $7 admission.
Love that we have such a beautiful, well maintained gem of a park in town! So many ways to enjoy this space: walk your dog, take a hike, swim, pick berries, paddle board, camp, watch the wildlife. Endless possibilities!
Amazing park surrounding the lake. Park beaches to sit along the trail. Walking path is safe. Clean, nice flushing toilets in restrooms. Great park in nature. Family friendly.
Great place to take your dog for a walk or go on the hike with the family or friends. A lot of different species of birds frogs turtles possums raccoons and more to discover at this park
Great place to paddle your canoe, take a walk or jog surrounded by Redwoods. Have a picnic, and the kids can swim in the large, shallow pond, in the summer. Beautiful!
We went to the park just for a walk but we loved. We saw many quails, squirrels, birds. There is plenty of space to have nice picnic, or just enjoy the view and relax.
Interesting to see old gym “equipments” hahaha
Went canoeing on my brother's canoe with son's family. Very relaxing time. Good access to restrooms and swimming area. Good walking path as well.
We were camping there for the night and we would do it again and we would tell people to camp there if thet have the chance! Thanks Spring Lake!
Beautiful place to spend an hour kayaking around on a lake. $7 to park all day, or you can get a year long pass. Twelve dollars to rent a single kayak for an hour. An hour is plenty of time to make a full circuit of the lake. Watch the dragon flies, approach the swans, or just sit and enjoy the stillness. Lovely time. Will go again.
Surprisingly nice for being in the city. Easy to book and most sites are fairly nice. Easy access to trails etc. Lake is good for fishing is you have a boat, fairly overfished from the bank. Great place for working out any kinks before a big trip or if you're from out of town you won't be far from grocery and city needs. Good place to get away if you're from the city.
Great hiking and biking trails. The biking has exploded and many of trails are blown out now. Large amounts of trail chunder.
Been going to this park my whole life. Running, swimming. When I was young it was mostly just me. Not a park but a swamp. A little crowded now. But still great
Beautiful park and lake. Kayaks and boats for rent. Too bad you can’t swim in the main lake - the designated swimming pond is very unappealing, dirty brown water, lots of geese and kids! Lots of space to grill and picnic.
The best place in Sonoma County to enjoy a family picnic and walk around the lake for some exercise and enjoy the beauty!
Lovely park, we did an easy hike around Spring lake. We didn't have enough time to explore all the other trails but it's a beautiful location and we would like to go back. Some of the trails are
Lovely large clean lake.
Lots of Canadian geese and other birds
Also saw some turtles. We rented kayaks. Then had a picnic under trees by the water. Peaceful and beautiful.
We will go back soon!
This trail is great for many different reasons, weather you are visiting from out of town or a resident this family friendly trail shows such a beautiful side of Sonoma county.
