Spring Valley Cleaners

I just called this place to ask if they cleaned area rugs. The lady was “hard to understand in answering” mumbled and fast talked.wasn’t sure if I had the right place. Then when I asked, she was rude, abrupt and just hung up! Didn’t even wait or ask if there was anything else I needed.

There was and they do, BUT, I won’t be using their service. Customer service IS important.

The owner is rude.
I walked in twice (to drop my item off and again to pick it up).
She was on her phone and saw me, but didn’t greet me or anything.
I looked around to see if anybody else was there and she finally got up and asked what I wanted.
It took about 5 minutes to get her to understand that I wanted my clothing item to be taken in a bit on the waist.
I explained to her exactly what I wanted and she seemed to get frustrated with me.
Everything seemed to be an inconvenience for her, even the payment.
She’s super rude, they’re more expensive than other cleaners, and I didn’t even get exactly what I asked for.
They even left ugly remnants of where they worked (thread peeking and visible stitched on the outside).

Never coming back.

I brought my clothing to this dry cleaners for years. Recently, 2 articles of clothing ($300 value) I left for dry cleaning shrunk ridiculously. The sweaters no longer fit me. Aside from that, one of my sweaters had a huge hole. Considering I have been a loyal customer, I spoke to woman voicing my concerns and disappointment in my ruined items. She did not care to even apologize for their mistake. Even worse, when I was in the middle of voicing my concerns, the woman shrugged and walked away from me. I was appalled by the poor customer service and common courtesy. I will never entrust them with my items again.
