SpringHill Suites by Marriott Anaheim Maingate reviews
18 They put up a "happy birthday" banner for my wife, and all of the employees were nothing short of amazing! Breakfast was delightful, and the bus pass to disney was fairly reasonable ($6/day pp)
This will be our go-to spot when back in anaheim!
Room layout is very odd. You can't really watch TV from the bed area because the TV is on a dresser tucked in a corner. Nice to have the ART shuttle stop in front of the hotel. Coffee always available downstairs.
Great staff, nice suite-style rooms. Staff at the desk and bfast are great. Very clean and well designed. No EV charging station, but they are working on it. They accommodated my Tesla by running an extension from the electrical room!
Standard suite from Marriott nothing special about it. Didn't check out the pool.probably could so a small family in the king room but the kids need to be smaller.
It was great for us with a toddler. There is a desk and a blury wall that kind of separates the bed from the sofa area that worked perfect for the toddler for sleeping in her cribon the other side of the bed. If you don't have kids you can walk to the Disneyland from there. It is like a mile walk. That would save time for busy Disney parking.
I came to check in and was greeted my suzy she was so nice. The room was perfect we had a firework view room and the breakfast was filling.
The staff here is very friendly. The rooms and the pool are clean. Everyone here was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
We just came back from our trip to Disneyland and we stayed here. What a great stay.
Hotel location was great, we were easily able to walk back and forth to downtown Disney with our kids. There are not alot of restaurants in the vicinity but pizza, groceries, etc can easily be delivered.
The breakfast buffet was excellent and plentiful.
The pool was perfect and nice and warm for end of day swims.
The rooms were clean and large enough for our family of 5.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was easy.
We watched the fireworks from the hotel which was nice.
I dont think we could have expected a better stay. It was perfect.
Great hotel! Breakfast was so nice, the staff was so friendly and helpful and our room was very clean! Super pleased with it.
This is a standard no-frills hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff who provided guidance on best ways to use ART app and get to Disney. The ART bus station is right outside.
They have free breakfast and coffee every morning.
We absolutely loved our stay! The staff was phenomenal and so kind. The rooms were great. The staff was so patient with kids having tantrums and meltdowns after long Disney days and I felt it eased a lot of stress for me. Seriously we will absolutely stay again.
Great stay! We had two separate reservations, but the front desk worked with us and allowed us to merge the two together.
The room was a pleasant surprise, clean, and very fresh. The sheets were crisp, and my kids were happy with the pull out couch. I was happy with the mini fridge and microwave. But, the shower was the crown jewel.
Breakfast was a simple, but perfect variety, just the right items to fuel us for a day in the parks.
Disneyland was about a 20 minute walk to the front gates, but 15 to downtown Disney.
Will definitely stay again!
This hotel is very clean and nice looking. My family spent a week here. Our shower pressure was so weak. I have thick curly hair and it took forever for me to rinse. The sofa bed is basically springs with a sheet. It was terrible. Breakfast was hit and miss. Some days they would have warm breakfast out and available. Some mornings we would stand in line and wait for 5-10 minutes. On those mornings only 5 people would get breakfast because they took it all thinking there would be no more. We stood in line for waffles for 10-15 minutes some mornings.
I booked this hotel because I thought Maingate means close to Disney. It is a 25-30 walk to the parks.
We stayed here when we took the kids to Disney, approx. 20 minutes walk to the gates. Staff was great, Cynthia was amazing to deal with! She gave us all the Disney tips and tricks, she was a great help in making the most out of our time here. Pool and hot tub were perfect after a long day on our feet in Disny. We would definitely stay here again. See Cynthia at front desk when you check in!
What a great hotel in the perfect location! Loved having the space for a family of 5 and the free hot breakfast! Only thing I would change is the pull out mattresses.they’re terrible, our kid ended up just sleeping on the couch folded up.
Great location to the parks, we walked in every morning and walked out every night…never felt unsafe once. If the kids and wife were tired I would walk back and pick them up in the car. Would stay here again and again!
After a long trip from Utah, our stay was cancelled with NO notice by one of the staff named “Cynthia” after asking her about it, she was VERY disrespectful to us and kept telling us “goodnight” to cut us off.and that “she knows how to do her job”. Thanks to her, we had to sleep in the parking lot since we had no other place to stay and all of the other hotels were full.horrible service thanks to CYNTHIA (front desk)! Would not recommend.
The best all around affordable hotel near Disneyland. A moderate walking distance from the park but more importantly, a safe at night walk from the park. It is a great place to crash during a very exhausting day at the park. The bathroom was immaculate and the room itself great!
We had our trip perfectly planned with a reservation confirmed and booked for this hotel. We flew all the way in from Utah and arrived at the hotel a 2am ready to rest. When we walk in, we are notified that our reservation was cancelled. NOBODY (from our family) CALLED TO CANCEL the reservation. We are later notified that an employee named Cinthia was responsible for the cancellation under no known reason or explanation. No room was available for us, a family of 5 with children. Since the hotels in town were completely booked and there was nothing that was done to help, we had to sleep in the car. A regular sedan (sitting down). It was horrible. The next day she happened to be at the reception and we asked for an explanation as to why she canceled our reservation. She only replied saying “Im not gonna argue with you, I know how to do my job”. She was EXTREMELY RUDE she kept saying that our name was “suspicious” therefore it was fraud. As we tried to tell her how frustrated we were she kept cutting us off saying “goodnight” so we would leave. She never once apologized or offered any sort of help. THIS IS NOT A PERSON THAT SHOULD WORK AT A MARRIOT HOTEL. We are disgusted by the way she treated and talked to us.
