SpringHill Suites by Marriott Paso Robles Atascadero

Best night's sleep. Best deal and best staff. Staff so honest that I forgot my purse at the Cafe and found out about it the next day.kept safe and intact by honest staff.

Spring Hill Suites Atascadero 12/11-12/14

When we first arrived at the hotel and entered our room, it looked very nice. Then, we began to notice all of the nice features and the deficits.
Positives:
There is a separate toilet and shower room and the staff was friendly. In fact Kai went out of her way to make us feel welcomed.
Deficits:
1. The sliding barn doors to the toilet do not close all the way or lock.
2. The sliding barn doors have frosted glass which adds privacy but the light coming through the glass wakes up those trying to sleep.
3. The glass doors also amplify the bodily noises while sitting on the toilet for all in the room to hear.
4. There are no hooks in the bathroom for clothes. I had to hang my clothes an the towel rack over the sink counter.
5. The barn doors do not allow for a hook for clothes.
6. If the shower is being used, and someone wants to use the toilet room to use a blow dryer, there is NO electrical outlet available.
7. The clock in the room was set an hour late and we were late to our appointment and no visible buttons to change the time.
8. Being a new hotel, we were surprised that there was only one USB plug, and that was on the alarm clock with the wrong time.
9. The grab and go breakfast was less than inviting. The last hotel I was in had a grab and go breakfast with omelettes, sausage and bacon. You can do better.
10. I have business clients in the area, but given all of the deficits, you can understand why I will not be staying at the Spring Hill Suites again. I realize you cannot change the design of the “suites” but I would suggest that the architect who designed the rooms do a better job of listening to the customers. And if that is not possible, they should be fired!

Very nice hotel with easy freeway access for all of your jaunts to wineries and other local attractions. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel is relatively new and the interior is attractive. There's an especially pleasant area for outside dining. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Be sure to ask for some wine tasting coupons and a map of local wineries. They were happy to help us map out our day.

Great spot. 4 out of 5 stars because it was a bit pricey, but so is everything in Paso. Our is worth looking for an Airbnb but as far as hotels go, this was great!

The room was not clean
Lots of unvaccumed items on the floor. Old coffee pod in the coffee maker.

Usual high quality we've come to expect from Springhill - clean, large suite with well laid out bathroom, free breakfast, onsite restaurant was helpful when we arrived late on the first night, friendly & helpful staff

Stayed here twice on a return trip between LA and SF. The room was spacious, clean, contemporary and very fresh. Probably the nicest of the four hotels we stayed at during our trip. The reception staff were extremely helpful and the buffet style breakfast very tasty. Will definitely book here again

Good. Clean rooms. Nice pool. Missed breakfast by 30mins because the front desk gave us wrong info.

I only stayed for a bit doing homework in the lobby. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I walked around the boutique that they were having for a bit. Very upscale for what seems like the edge of town.

Great hotel. Probably the best in atascadaro. Please was very clean and room was large and idea for business traveler. Free breakfast buffet in morning 630-930. The food was ok just glad I didn't pay extra for it. Lots of free parking and free WiFi that works. Pool area was very small with no spa but again clean. Lobby bar was quiet and not super inviting.

Nice place. Clean. Little trail around the property and train tracks. The pool and outside area are nice. The breakfast was a little limited. But the staff was very friendly. Thanks especially to George at the front desk and Richard in the restaurant. Our family had a pleasant time thank you. (If you stay here with kids be sure to check out the Ravine water park. Close and worth it.)

Das hotel ist für den preis sehr gut. Jedoch könnte das zimmer sauberer sein.
Beim Check-In musstem wir lange warten bis wir ins zimmer rein konnten.ich bin direkt in pool, der sauber war und gut zum schwimmen.

We ate dinner there they have excellent shrimp and fries and a pasta Alfredo with chicken, the service was excellent too.

If I had to rate it I would say Excellent the room was very comfortable the bed was nice. And comfy t, from the moment I walked in I was greeted with courtesy and a smile I would recommend Springhill suites to everyone thank you for your great service. By the way, room was very clean kuddos to the house keeper of rm 232!

It is a newer, beautiful hotel with a nice bar & restaurant. The breakfast is great. The double queen room was very big with a mini fridge, microwave, couch, desk. Very clean except there were a few ants in the bathroom. Overall a great place to stay.

King suite room was wonderful. Spacious with chaise, work desk. Very powerful toilet flush. Comfortable lighting, not too bright for my eyes. I slept comfortably without interruption.

Nice, clean, modern rooms, although bit of an awkward layout, but not the worst. Breakfast was great, good options from make your own waffles, to eggs, oatmeal, etc. Bummer about our room was all the bird poop covering the window due to the dozens of sparrows nesting on side of hotel. Since the birds and neats are protected, not much the hotel can do. Otherwise pleasant place, really close to freeway.

Beautiful, clean rooms.great breakfast choices in the morning (they had almost everything I could think of). The front desk staff were very friendly. We only stayed one night but if we stayed longer we would have checked out the other areas in the hotel. We will definitely be back!
