Springville Dog Park, Camarillo CA

My GSP Luna loves this park. Plenty of space and areas of shade. They provide buckets of soil to fill any holes dug up by dogs. Most people are respectful and friendly. There is the problem person or two who brings their over aggressive dog that they can't control. Just need to watch for a dog with a soft muzzle or aggressive German shepherds taking over the small dog enclosure. Otherwise our favorite dog park in the area!

This is a great dog park has tons of room for them to run and have fun. It has plenty of grass, has a water fountain that always works, little dog and a big dog sections. It has a nice walking path around the perimeter. Best of all it has very well-behaved owners and dogs. There are plenty of benches to sit down and visit with other dog lovers.

This park is very large with nice grass, trees and several benches. There are two separate areas, one for small and one for large dogs. Each section is equipped with "doggie drinking fountains, " waste disposal bags, and buckets of dirt to use to cover anything left.

Most dogs are well-behaved and play well with other dogs off leash. I take my 6 month old Siberian here one to two times per week, and he's made a few good dog budies along the way.

Love taking my dogs here. Although I wish the small dog side was similar in size to the big dog side. Sometimes it’s tough coming here because owners bring their dogs even when they are very aggressive dogs.

This park is one of the best one in Ventura CA, the only thing that some owners with small dogs they go to the big side area and they get mad when big dogs approach to them, I got yelled out when a lady came in with her 2 Chihuahuas and my Pitties got closed to her dog she started screaming like crazy and star telling me things, I just told her you are in the wrong area, she told me that she can go wherever she wants. I had never experienced something like that before, my dogs are very well behaved with any breeds. It really reminds me of what happened to Millions and Marshall the two Pitties that got kill just because a dramatic lady.

Nice dog park with plenty of shade a benches. There is a clean water fountain for the dogs. The area is large enough for the fastest of dogs. The dogs and owners were all very friendly.

This dog park is wonderful. It's nice and big and so still maintained. I love the location and the view and so far I haven't had an issue getting parking.

It is just so peaceful to chat with the dog owners. Their dogs are friendly, loved to be petted and having a bowl of water to share with them is a blessing to me.

Great place! Dogs are friendly the grounds are kept clean, for the most part, unfortunately, there will always be people who don't pick up after there dogs, but overall I highly recommend this park.

Very nice dog park. I learn about it while attending a Saturday dog training most dogs are well behaved and most owners keep a close eye on their dogs. They have a separated area for small dogs.

The park itself is really nice and on certain days the parking lot is not big enough for visitors. I agree that it needs more shade and seating for the big dog area. Also I wish it had a restroom with two stalls at least, the humans gotta potty too! Lol

As for the culture, some small dog owners like to bring them to the big dog area despite the signs being there. Some owners are chill while others are nonchalant about their dogs showing aggression. Other than that, it's a great place overall.

Took my dog to this park for the first time and some large dog attacked my little dog. He grabbed my dog by the head a flung him 10 feet. I THOUGHT MY DOG WAS A GONER.
People with aggressive dogs especially large aggressive ones.should NOT bring there dog to a open park. Completely ruined my experience there and I left. Be careful because these ppl act like they own the park.

With June Gloom already in full effect over Memorial Day weekend, it didn't matter that there weren't many shady spots for owners to take a break from the sun (only one covered bench in the large dog area), so that was pretty okay with us. The dogs were friendly, their owners relatively attentive, but it seemed there had been a few pupper leavings left for others to attend to by the time we arrived at about 9 am on a Sunday. We loved the idea of the divot fill for its multifunctional fill and cover-up of those messy spots post-pick-up. Beautiful location. While we were there, nice, friendly owners, aware of how their dogs play and aware of how other dogs also play. Closest restroom was a portable unit near the tennis courts.

I love this place. Friendly people, well stocked, maintained. Your dog will have a great time.

Good for a local change of scenery for. Pups. Large dog side is much nicer. Small dog park side is very small. Limited seating. Low shade. No waste bags dispensers in small dog side. The entrance is not separate for small, and big dogs. No evening hours, or lighting.

A clean, friendly park. Closes until grounds dry after any rainfall.usually for a number days.

Nice little area but hours and a little odd and don't inform people of closure for any reason while you waste your gas getting there. Some people are Karen's but overall B-

Best park. I go there all the time. Open 7 to dusk. Friday opens at 10. After maintenance is finished. Closed for rainy days and day after. All fenced. Little dog area and big fenced run area, off lease area. Poop is picked up, so do your part keep it clean. Prime real estate with million dollar view.

So much room for my dog to run to he hearts content. A fully enclosed dog park with a water fountain plenty of benches and dog bags if needed. I don't go anywhere else!
