Sprouts Farmers Market, Poway CA

I was humiliated by Liz (one of employees) who was helping the lady from check out the energy drinks today.

I am very sad and upset since I support this store and buy my groceries all the time not going Walmart or Aldi!

I went to the sprouts in poway to purchase stuffs as usual and I saw the energy drink I like, there are on sale which is 10 for $10 from the sign. I got 20 energy drinks and went to check out and they didn’t have a discount code in the system, so the check out lady was asking help from Liz who is another employee at sprouts.

They couldn’t find the discount sale sign so I went at the back and helped them to find the discount sign, Liz came back and do check out for my energy drink and she started to complain that this needs lots for of patience and she doesn’t have patience like this. She thinks I don’t speak English good bc I am Asian but I heard everything!

And then the lady at the check out told Liz “ I will put this discount sign back “ and Liz was upset and TORE that discount sign in front of my face and saying “NOPE we don’t need this” and very very rude attitude + shouting towards me.

I was hurt literally and start to shaking and cried. I have called sprouts cooperation and they said they will escalate this issue and solve.

I was Very embarrassed in front of other customers, if I am white or a guy, she wouldn’t treat me like that.

This is not right.

No matter how many times Ive gone, the cashier's either don't smile, don't greet, have thrown my food, have been dismissive, or ignored questions. The transaction is simple, it doesn't have to be rude. Customer service is still nice to receive. I will end up driving to the Sprouts that is on the other side of town bc i don't experience that kind of service there. But at the Poway store, I have no idea why the pattern.

I gotta say the produce only lasts about 2 days or so and a lot of the produce is bruised.

We shopped here Dec 13 5pm. All of the Kifer was out of date, as were a number of the other dairy products. We arrived home with packaged ham that was also 2 days past sell by date. Very surprising and disappointing.

Do not trust there 50% off, I use skin care from sprouts for many years, do not trust their special like 50% off. I've been using skin care from sprouts for many years. I noticed every time special prices are not special, because they increase prices, but there were special before like purchase over $100 gets 10% off on skin care, that's reasonable, but today I saw there's 50% off on skin care so I grabbed dream E oil which was I use this oil for many years, the original price was $11.99  when i saw the tag marked $22.99, really?   that's so crazy, they increased way too much, and mark  half price off.that's so dishonest. Be a smart shopper, you can find a lot of items online and some are only half price of sprouts.

Excellent selection of foods that are a healthy choice, for both you and the planet - organic, local, vegan. Also features a large selection of bulk buy items. Add to that the friendly staff and multiple locations, making sprouts my favourite place to do groceries.

Not my favorite location of Sprouts. Staff seems generally unhappy and not eager to help if you have a question. But it is close by so I go there if I forgot to get something at the other Sprouts by work.

Great location and never too busy (or at least I go during off hours). They have all of the products I’m looking for. They usually have a lot healthier products and fresher foods than your normal Vons.

Their freshly made to order sandwiches keep us from coming back. Keep up the good work sandwich counter guys!

A great place to find bulk goodies, including spices, at reasonable prices. Good produce, too - both organic and non.

The store is small and the prices are not cheap either but once awhile they may have special bargain on certain items. They also have plenty of herbal medications that have dubious claims. Buyer be aware.

It's sprouts. Definitely not the best one in the area, but better than driving across town

I love Sprouts. You can get all kinds of unique items food and other things like supplements, vitamins, hair and face products even orchids. Friendly staff. And you can get lunch at their deli counter or purchase bread, various cheeses, meats, etc. Often when the big box grocery store doesn't have good produce I go to Sprouts. They have wonderful mushrooms

Great fresh meats, drinks and vegetables. Love their selections of fruit and veggies. Their top sirloin steaks were so tender and delicious.
