Sprouts Farmers Market, San Marcos CA

Rude cashier. He was whispering to himself saying how annoying the customers behind me were. They were several women having a conversation in spanish and laughing. He was super rude to me. He was annoyed that I needed bags. I said thank you every time he handed me a bag, he didn't even look at me.

Always great in all ways Great produce, always, best choices for dates Fresh and always well stocked.

Love this store for the fresh options it has. Everything is delicious and fresh. Even the milk lasts longer. The meat selection is about the only thing I wish they had more of. Selection is limited but what they do have, it's always fresh. Never had anything bad or near expired from here. Everyone is friendly as well.

Great store, happy staff, and clean. Try going to any CVS and then to Sprouts and be amazed at the difference.

Always love Sprouts! They have the best fruits and veggies by far for grocery stores and always great employees and So many good vegetarian and vegan options!

Super important to read the ingredients- I am finding most bakery items at Sprouts are Bio-engineered. Surprising as I thought of this store as a organic and healthy foods outlet.

I went in for two things and at check out there were big order before me, but inbetween order the young lady customer saw i only had two things and told me to go ahead of her. But the mean and rude black cashier heard the customer, but still processed to check her out first and told me with a very mad voice I can't scan your stuff because I already started scanning the nice customer's items. The black cashier was unprofessional and uneducated. MEAN! Thanks to her I won't be going back soon.

Self checkout makes picking up a few items a quick and painless experience. The fresh sandwiches are delicious and a great price. Much cleaner then comparable stores and I don’t feel like I’m going to get mugged or see every other customer shoplift.

I have no idea what is going on but the produce is old and rotten. Shelves are not at all stocked. Service at the deli counter was the slowest I've ever experienced. I have shopped here since it opened but something isn't right at the moment. I will avoid this store for a while and hopefully they get things sorted.

This is the Sprouts location I'm most familiar with. Long time client since 2008. They tend to get busiest Sunday afternoons.

Love that everything is so orderly, they have the best choice of veggies and fruits, and really good tasting meat and wild caught fish!

Manager didn’t believe that my dog was a service dog in training.
In fact she didn’t believe that a service dog in training was even a real thing.
Um…do you think that service dogs are just BORN knowing how to do very specific complex service tasks? Of course they aren’t! Somebody has to teach them to do their service job as well as teaching obedience training like ignoring external distractions while working, and how to behave when in public places.

Fresh fruits and vegetables, lots or organic stuff! Good prices in a smaller, more family oriented store!

Was in and out within 5 minutes. Self check out was a breeze. I did only run in for a California roll and that happened to be on sale so I was stoked. The store is wide and open. It was easy for me to find what I need. Highly recommend this Sprouts!

I haven't been in a Sprouts market for over a decade and I happened to stop in one time after a dentist appt. Their pre-made meals near the deli are soooo delicious and easy to take home and heat up. The lady working at the deli was so friendly. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area

Sprouts is my go-to market for the famous Brown Cow, Cream Top, Whole Milk Yogurts. It's also the best local market for produce. And while there are other stores whose produce sections excel, the distance is prohibitive for me.

As for my 4-star review, I have occasionally purchased grapes, avocados, tomatoes and Cuties tangerines, and honeydew melons that were old, bruised, wilted, moldy, or just plain tasteless. These problems can be disguised and I'm no expert, so I expect the produce people to inspect - perhaps even taste - the items they stock.

While this has happened infrequently, when it does happen, I've wasted my money and didn't get my product. Could I go back and return/exchange my items? Probably, but that's also a waste of my time.

All in all, I still find Sprouts to be a reliable place for the things I need.
