I'd avoid the hiking trail visible (by some estimation) in maps unless you've got a good sense of direction and heading west with a great pair of hiking legs and boots. The well-worn trail beneath the bridge is for the indigenous only, in my opinion. It's not that the trail is particularly a problem other than all exits back to street-level seem to be well obfuscated.

I was a little nervous about this because of my fear of heights but I got used to it pretty quickly. It only sways a lot if you make it and the bridge is not very long. The views are gorgeous.

Fun bridge. If you are on the bridge by yourself not much movement. If there are several people on the bridge there is much more movement

It's a great bridge, and a wonderful piece of history that's located in a beautiful place!

An emblematic bridge of the city of San Diego. A beautiful and slender structure that passes through a beautiful canyon with extraordinary views within a residential area with special charm. It is also a very fun bridge because, as it is a suspension bridge, it moves when you walk over it and you will laugh at those who suffer from a little vertigo.

It is only a bridge that connects to get from one place to another on foot

Cool historical bridge. Can be as busy as it is peaceful but regardless it's very fun to experience this architectural marvel. San Diego Historical Landmark #116
