If you can afford to have your funds held in captivity for months and months and your account deactivated because they decided that the very personal information you uploaded isn't sufficient indentity verification, then go for it, sign right up. If you want to process cards and have access to your money that you earned, go somewhere else and don't look back. Run, don't walk away from these crooks. They make it brainless to sign up, you breeze right through setting up, well, basically your whole business on their dashboard, invoicing, card processing, you name. It's a great platform. The people running it are the problem.
If you are a small business DO NOT USE SQUARE.
They closed my account with no reason or warning.
They said that I will receive my Balance after 90 days. Maybe.
Every email from there customer support is pointless.
Calling them is like the people picking up the phone know nothing about what to do or help the situation.

I have been a loyal user of Square since their launch and have conducted over 10 million dollars worth of business through their platform. However, I am deeply disappointed and saddened by the decline in their customer service and the malfunctioning of the advertised features.
One such feature is SQUARE AI for appointments, which is supposed to allow customers to easily cancel, change or reschedule appointments. Unfortunately, this feature does not work properly. When a customer attempts to change their appointment, even if my schedule is wide open, Square informs them that no appointments are available and provides no contact information for my business.
When I contacted customer service to rectify the issue, they refused to provide a solution or refund and were uncertain about when the problem would be fixed. It seems that Square is content with taking my money but unwilling to address the problems their platform is causing.
I strongly advise against using Square and suggest exploring alternative options.
Poor service and even worse customer service. I have a well established company and never got anyone on the phone. Also they will temporarily hold you money periodically for fraud investigations and will not deposit into your account until they feel its satisfied, which may be up to 3 months. I am very happy I stopped using square.
Hey Cash App has a scam department but we don't do anything! Some shut the main company, Square Inc, down along with the sham of a company, Cash App. Idiots. I'll report you to the federal authorities.
I have zero idea who this company is but today i got a notification on my email for something being declined they were trying to see if my card was active trying to get money out and like i said i have zero idea who they are and how they even got my information scammers!
Keep sending me emails in spam requests 300.00 from me so I can have access to a 700.00 cash app debit card.
ATTENTION SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS - DO NOT USE SQUARE AS YOUR MERCHANT! I had 2 events totaling to $2000 and Square supposedly transferred my funds to my bank and they never came. Till this day they're giving me the run around and won't give me my money, some rep named Cassie acted like she was helping me and really wasn't and then she closed my case! I'm a business owner in San Francisco and will tell EVERYBODY I KNOW TO SWITCH FROM SQUARE! THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES
If I could give a 0 star review I would. Impossible to work with. Supervisors aren't allowed to call you back. Have my money and won't give me access to it. Beyond frustrated. Stay clear of them and Cash App.
Square supposedly offers their sellers the ability to send text messages to customers. Well, they are very reliable about taking their fees from their sellers, but their Messaging system hasn't been working properly since November. When you call their Support line, you are redirected to an online "community" forum, where the moderators direct you right back to the Support line. BOO!
Not sure why my account was frozen. Have yet to get it resolved. Unable to speak to someone in person. No follow thru on emails. Company should be disappointed with itself. No customer service present. Very upset about this.
Horrible company I’ve used this company for a little over a year and they decided to hold 20% of each transaction I make and there’s no date on when it’ll be released. Horrible customer service send emails get zero response, you call and they can’t help you over the phone. So I have over $7,000.00 on hold and they will not tell me when it will be released. I would definitely stay away from this company I switched over to quick books transfers fees are better and they don’t don’t hold my money.
Square allowed someone to hack into my account, even with the “2-step verification” BS and steal from my customer. They gave NO account for themselves at all, and even made it harder to communicate with them after the event. This is a core function they are supposed to perform, and they failed miserably. After almost 10 years as a customer, I’m closing my account. Suggest you do the same.
Reason why your money is on hold for 90 days: They are using it to make millions of dollars in interest. How you ask? They put it in a hedge fund with all the other people's money that's on hold.
Square owes me thousands of dollars and will not pay me, despite their written promise that they would do so, repeated reminders on my part, and months of patience.

My account got fraud I was told I was getting my money back from my these people took me my from a mirror screen app so my money to bitcoin then deposit it in someone else’s account I need help anybody have any suggestions on how I o get my money back
