Customer service so awesome! Ikon messed up my pass, and Palisades staff worked super hard to find me the best deal to get me out on the slopes. Great runs!

Second visit and absolutely love this place even though we don't ski it's our favorite resort and location. Our daughter begs to go there every single year. Everyone at the resort is so nice. The restaurants are amazing. While there this year we were stuck in a snow storm and the lobby of the resort held a kids play area with arcade games, crafts, movies and more it was a nice break from being snowed in. Will definitely come back and will always recommend.

Whenever I go up to Tahoe to ski, this is where I go. It can be pretty crowded but it has a bunch of runs and most are pretty fun. One of my favorite runs is Belmont because it has lots of jumps. If you are in the area, I would highly reccomend Palisades.

Truly amazing family experience.

Suggest to arrive by 8: 30 am latest to make sure we had enough time to find parking, rent skiing equipment including helmets, and pay for the lift tickets.

Early arrivial guarantees a fun unforgettable experience. Arrive later and expect a long wait time in 2 hour lines for rentals and lift tickets.

Arrived early, waited in line, rented equipment and lift tickets (45 minutes).

Customer Service was surprisingly fantastic, especially with many people feeling grumpy due to SIP (Shelter in Place) or Stay at Home. On another note, customer service in many aspects of our communities (restaurants, schools, supermarkets, etc) are non existent or lazy. The skii and resort offer awesome service. Best of all the diveristy of the young people they bring in from all over the world on work visas combined with local charming people offer great friendly service. We love the VIP experience and smiles.

Hit the skii lifts and slopes 15 minutes later.

2021 snow was a perfect powder with slight icy crunch that skiis and snowboards love.

We are in ski and snowboard Heaven. Perfect snow. Perfect weather. Perfect cold. Perfect sun. Made sure to have our winter attire, jackets, beanies, snow pants, boots, snow shoes - made the day fun for young and old.

The large ski lift charges extra $49 to ride to top of mountain. Well worth the money to take a 15 minute ride up over 8000 feet.

The views are beautiful. Restaurant at top is very nice. Opens at 11am. Enjoyed light lunch, Bloody Mary's, and chilled while young ones enjoyed snowboarding and skiing. Top of the mountain is super windy and brings a type of Chicago Wind Chill factor - brrrrrr. Make sure to have scarf to cover face.

Once at top, one may ski or snowboard all the way down by following the trails. Excellent long 20+ minute snow experience going down.

The resort area is full of fun things to do. Eat, drink, walk around, shop, chill.repeat. We spent 2 days at (the resort formerly known Squa Valley).

Leaving late at 5pm - must have patience because escaping the parking lot takes more than 15-20 minutes and getting down the road to turn on main highway another 15. Total time could be 30-45 minutes to get out of parking lot. However, once reaching main highway, turn right drive a few minutes and stop onto side road to take photos of the river, snow covered pines, ducks. Beautiful.

Over all awesome experience. Doing it again.

A good thing ruined by poor management of crowds and access. If you’re going to sell a gazillion passes, you need to implement some kind of reservation system. Pay exorbitant prices to sit in traffic to have no parking to waste half your day of recreation. Completely wrecks the experience, how miserable.

Always nice to visit Palisade Tahoe. I don't like snowboarding there bc of the crowd but always happy to go back for restaurants and fun.

Been trying to reach them out thru emails and calls but no consistent response. So unprofessional for having me wait for days!

Hour and a half just to go the last 6 miles to the resort, and then no parking. Not the first time this has happened. It’s not like this is unusual, they need to figure out a shuttle system or set up a reservation system. Huge disappointment after getting a babysitter and driving 2 hours.

Unacceptable for the amount of money we’re paying!

Awesome snow, amazing views, great terrain, good selection of food on the mountain. Will definitively come back!

The resort itself was pretty, but the cost was wayyy too much for a day ticket bought day-of at the resort. The price was about $180 for just the ski ticket for a single day, plus another $50 for the ski, boot, and pole rental.

The quality of the rentals was excellent. The process for getting them was great too.

I ended up getting a two hour pass, from 2-4pm, for $80, which was already a lot of money. That is the price of a day ticket at other resorts. All in all, not worth the price.

EDIT: no parking! Terrible experience. I would suggest going elsewhere. You’ll get tickets but all of their parking lots will fill up by ~10am.

Love Squaw Valley, always have even if they call it Palisades I'll always think of it as Squaw Valley. A bit sad that it is so expensive but to me at 74 everything seems expensive. All in all my favorite ski resort in North Ameeica.

Trail layout and map are very confusing and signage was almost non-existent most of the time. But has some really nice trails.
