St Joseph Urgent Care Santa Rosa

This might be a big scam. I needed an Urgent care & this was closest to me at the time. However, they claimed that the insurance system was down & they could not process my health insurance at the time. One month later, I got letter from health insurance showed a charge under Providence Memorial Hospital for emergency care, but I clearly went to Urgent care for outpatient service; their charge is outrageously high comparing to the same care I had went to for at a community health center. Plus, I had to wait for 3 hours a PA to see me like 5 minutes & wrote 2 simple RXs & standard test; again this was not the emergency department.

Horrible experience, was debating on coming here because there ratings are so low. But because it was close I decided to try it out. Will never return. It was a total waste of time.

I made an appointment and still waited over two hours. All of the employees at this facility were overworked, angry, and generally low-level rude to me and everyone else. The management team needs to take responsibility and help these people get whatever it is they need to actually help out sick people.

They let me sit in the empty waiting room in excruciating pain for half an hour before they told me my health insurance wouldn't cover my visit. Out of network. Total waste of time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you need healthcare. These people couldn't find their own a- with both hands.

Terrible i had ear infection and was crying doctor send such a high dose medicine even stronger for adults

Worst walk in place to go to when you really need help. I waited about an hour in the cubicle for a provider to attend to me. No sense of urgency. They don’t even deserve 1 star. Worst clinic I’ve ever been to. How are the called URGENT CARE? Nothing urgent about them at all.

I have appointment 1: 20 pm and i was here around 12: 55 i do check in same time now its 2: 25 still waiting for doctor not a good service here please dont come here they just waste your time here

Waited 30 min and wasn't even checked in yet while the receptionist is laughing and chit chatting with another employee about what they are doing for their weekend. Very unprofessional.

To be honest, you need to be on top of your advocacy here. I’m not entirely sure why they don’t make sure they’re patients get seen, but I was sitting outside trying to make a phone call to my work, and I told the front desk and security guard I’ll be right there AND they can see me from the window… and didn’t make sure I heard my name get called. I’ve never been to a doctors office where they didn’t make sure the patient heard their name get called. I’m not trying to be mean but you better be very on top of your advocacy at this location. They give themselves one second to try and then they don’t care about you

Receptionist was ok. Went there today because I got in a car accident yesterday, was seen by an Amber Janson. She seemed to just brush me right off her shoulder. Was not satisfied with how she lifted my shirt without asking first and seemed it was very clear she was letting her opinions affect how she treated me? I told her my symptoms which indicated a concussion, also told her about some back pain that is quiet painful but apparently they “only do X-rays/ct scans if it’s really necessary? How would she have known how necessary it was she didn’t ask me much about it she just grabbed around my body without warning and told me I was fine. I have always had these issues with this urgent care so honestly I just walked out and decided it would be best if I just call my doctor. Also I was not even seen by the actual doctor, she was only an assistant and I was not pleased by her service. On the other hand the nurse Stephanie was very polite.

Was denied care for urgent IUD removal based on Catholic grounds. Would give them one star for that BUT I have had a couple positive experiences with them. Very short wait times if you hold your place online via their website.

I have Covid symptoms & wanted to find out if I have it. They offered appointments, which I wanted. They dealt with the Covid issue very well, never letting their other patients in any contact with those with Covid. Each Covid patient was brought in to an area, with only 1 room being used, so Covid patients wouldn’t get infected by other Covid patients. All the staff were friendly and very kind. I was totally impressed by the way that they acted under these conditions. They get an A+!

When I first arrived, there was no one sitting at the entrance station at the front. I did not know until I saw someone come in after me that I was supposed to register myself at the iPad/tablet at the front to be checked in (it was stuck on a load screen so, there was nothing that said "check in" or anything). When I did, I thought it was very unsanitary, especially during Covid, to have everyone use the same touch screen with unwashed and ungloved hands. Next, when I get to check in, the woman asks me "Is your mom with you, sweetie? " I was very confused and said no. So apparently she thought I was a child to the point where she doesn't even ask before talking to me like that. Whatever, moving along, the check-in/registration process was very uncomfortable. The woman says and makes me say everything out load, in a dead silent, tiny lobby. This includes her saying my medical purpose for being there as well as all of my confidential identifying information. She got really frustrated with me and was very rude if she couldn’t hear me, even though I was speaking at a normal level, and when I would repeat myself so she could understand, she would still behave rudely. I do not appreciate having to say my home address, date of birth, social security, and medical information out load. She even gave me an exact form with all of the same questions on it after this, to write my work info down. I am not sure why that was the one thing she couldn’t ask me out load. This medical office really needs to revise its respect and confidentiality practices, as well as their sanitary practices for registration.
As for when I finally saw a doctor, it was fine. Not great, but alright. The nurse was very sweet and funny. I do not know her name but she had light grey hair and I believe she said she was actually the radiologist but they were short staffed. She got me two cups of water so I could do a urine test and was patient to give me a chance to drink.
When I saw the doctor he talked for a couple of minutes about prescribing some medicine. There wasn’t any exam so, one of the things he prescribed an antibiotic for was kind of a guess. He was probably right so idk, I did take the medicines. He said, though, that he would prescribe three medicines and when I got to the pharmacy there were only two. I thought this was weird since he made a big deal about how people always want this other medicine like it is a miracle pill. So, I was really confused at the pharmacy, exhausted, trying to figure this out, without having memorized the drug names. Overall, it was okay, very disappointing registration process and the medical care was weak.
Spent a few hours of my evening there and ended up not being prescribed the medicine that I was told. I got the one for the main issue and another, so hopefully it will be fine. The main issue does seem to be resolved, I am not sure about the other. (It has been 6 days)

I was at urgent care for my daughter everything went well yesterday but today I had to go back I haven’t seen someone so rude like Karla especially on Hispanic people even though she is one bad experience with her other than that great people

I had a very bizarre and ultimately pointless visit. I was in severe pain from what I thought might be a sinus infection, but all the doctor (Julie Barlow) did was keep talking about people being put on ventilators for covid.
Basically after waiting for an hour, I was told to take mucinex and to get a covid vaccine. Still feel horrible and none of my issues were addressed. The doctor just took the opportunity to project her feelings about the 'pandemic'.

I visited this facility a few weeks ago. Wow. Worst experience I've ever had in my life regarding visiting a physician's office. The medical assistant was rude for no apparent/obvious reason. But the dr.who saw me was extremely rude, combative and borderline aggressive. If I could give 0 review I would. Also, I'm not the type of person that leaves reviews often at all. The doctor's name is Dr. Brian James Eberle. If this is the doctor that you are set to see, my recommendation is be aware and to maybe reconsider asking for a new physician if you feel uncomfortable like I did. Nobody deserves to feel the way he made me feel. I left in the middle of my appointment with him. I apologized and said I just didn't feel comfortable and he just smirked at me and stared and me and didn't say anything. I will never be back at this facility and if I ever am to see this dr again I will leave abruptly. Horrible experience.

My first time using Urgent Care, the front desk staff was super friendly. I didn’t wait long to get called, the MA was kind and helpful. The PA that actually saw me was super informative, helpful and super nice! He really even went out his way to call me after hours to read my lab results! I’m like can I get you as my primary care Dr. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone.

Always been my go to place in time of need. Respectful, caring, and kind. NO CASH needed. Wait time depends, usually in and out about 1 hour.
Can DIE trying to get clinic appointment!

I must not have had the same experience as the reviews I read. Everyone, in tis urgent care, were amazing, from the receptionist, the nurse, and the doctor. They were very nice, & the doctor & nurse were thorough. I got right in & I was very impressed.
