St Matthew Lutheran Church, Rocklin CA

We enjoyed the service. One of our biggest complaints about other churches in the area is that they try to make it into a rock concert with super loud music and flashing lights. The music wasn't loud, there were no flashing lights, and it was done very well. We enjoyed the sermon. Some sermons can fall flat, but this one didn't. A very welcoming church!

Friendly, welcoming and wonderful place to worship! And they have a Cafe which makes incredible lattes a nice way to wake up on those sometimes sleepy Sunday mornings.

Our family has been with St. Matthew for 15 years now. The environment is welcoming, the Pastor's are amazing, sermons are always uplifting and the folks you attend with are always happy to see you. As Pastor Brad says "you are in the right place" when you are there. There is always something going on for the youth and children's church keeps the kiddo's learning each week message there way and mom and dad can enjoy some quiet time in the service. If you are looking for a place to call home, come see us!

A wonderful, welcoming church. The first time I walked in (7 years ago), I knew I had found my church home. We love the modern service and the praise music. The word of God is spoken here and His people are active in mission.

St. Matthews Church is an amazing place to connect with others of all ages and backgrounds that are seeking the Lord and where all can live out their faith. All are welcomed! First time coming to a service about a year or so ago, I was greeted by three pastors and others within ten minutes of being on campus. The Lord is doing amazing things here, come check it out!

The people here are very kind and friendly and the pastors are inspiring. I want to come back each week to hear more and be part of this church.

It is amazing to see what God can do in people's lives as they encounter His grace. St. Matthew is all about it and putting it into action. I love being a part of this church. So excited to see what we are doing with our ministry partners Acres of Hope and Everyone Matter Ministry to break the cycle of homelessness for women & children and families. I'd invite anyone to join us here at St Matthew!

I have been a member through 4 building changes which are always bigger and serve the growing congregation better. The current location has an indoor play space, coffee counter, big nursery, large conversation area, dedicated youth classrooms and hang-out space (teens), and two worship areas (traditional and rock n roll). The leadership is clearly steering these building features, programs, and worship options to serve the community. All staff and volunteers who work with children are fingerprinted. I now have children and really appreciate how this congregation has grown. Certainly include this church when “shopping” for your new home church.

Wonderful church that feels like family. Nice new bigger facility that allows for fellowship after the service with a coffee cafe, kids play area and big open space to gather. They have great family events like trunk or treat, Easter hunts and even a Oktoberfest. I’ve been to many big churches locally that feel like they are too large where any given Sunday I do not see the same people from last week. There is a point when it’s too big. This church has a smiling face at every turn saying hello and welcome. Pastor Brad and Pastor Nathan have amazing messages each week giving us the Word and scriptures to use in our real life applications. We walk away better equipped each day with the knowledge and desire to be brighter lights in this world. Keep up the good work St. Matthew!

We have been members for several years now and haven't looked back. St. Matthew Lutheran Church is truly a second home for our family as everyone is so very warm and welcoming. This is an incredible place to worship and meet amazing people. They also offer two types of services, one for the more traditional Lutherans and one for the more modern and young families.

We’ve been attending St. Matthew for a year now. The first day we attended we were greeted by all of the pastoral staff and felt very welcomed! They really made a point of coming over to us and introducing themselves. One year later everyone is still just as friendly. In just a year we have managed to get connected into a life group for Bible study and have been building relationships ever since. They have 2 services on Sunday - a traditional service followed by a modern service. The band is awesome, the messages are fulfilling and we appreciate the many opportunities to get connected into the church family.

It felt like home the first time I walked through the door five years ago. Warm, welcoming. Fantastic, talented Pastors, staff, congregants. All ages, shapes, sizes and nationalities. You can stop looking once you’ve reached our door.
