Stables Inn, Paso Robles CA

Very cute motel with great decor. It is also an easy walk to downtown Paso Robles. Liked the fire pits where you could sit and enjoy some local wines (BYO). Also it was pet-friendly so we could bring along our little guy. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I recently stayed at this cute remodeled motel, and overall, we were impressed with the updates and decor. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and well-appointed. However, I have to say that the bed was a major disappointment. Despite the stylish headboard and luxurious bedding, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable (Room 6). It felt old or cheap and didn't provide enough support, which led to a restless night's sleep. I woke up with a sore back and neck, and it definitely put a damper on our overall experience. If you're someone who values a good night's sleep, this might not be the motel for you. However, if you're willing to overlook the bed issue, the motel has a lot of charm and character that might make up for it.

A small group of friends and I stayed in the Bunkhouse and it was truly perfect! The bunkbeds (2 sets + a king bed) were surprisingly comfy. Large table in the middle of room for sitting together. Beautifully decorated, with small extra touches for Christmas. Very close to downtown (easy walking distance, but raining during our stay). This room has it's own little fire pit and secluded entrance away from main parking (backside of the lobby). People at the front desk were kind, one even held an umbrella as we were running back and forth to pack up!

Really cute little place. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Services are limited, but the coffee bar in the morning was enough to get started. The location was close walking distance from lots of great food and small shops, so nothing felt like it was missing.

We were looking for a pet friendly place to stay on our drive from Palm Springs to San Francisco. So glad we found the Stables, what a gem! The service was friendly and the facilities were charming, in great condition. Room was so clean, with a nice updated tile bathroom and wood floors. Pleasant and comfortable, big down duvet on the beds. Quiet and peaceful, we slept well and got coffee at Spearhead down the street in the morning. Our room rate was so affordable, such a value for the quality of the accommodations. Wish we had time to stay longer and enjoy this great town

This is a super cute and cozy little hotel/inn. Clean and updated. Stayed here for 1 night with 3 small kids in the Stag Room and had enough room for the kids to run around. If we didn't have the kids, we'd hang out by the fire and have some wine too

Five stars for the two star hotel. This is how a motel should look like. Everything done into the detail. It needs not a lot of things to me such a lovely place what it is and shine.

What a great little place to stay! Super clean and super charming. Lindsey, the GM, is welcoming and provides over the top customer service. There are great conversation areas both inside and outside where we enjoyed our wine and hung out with the friends we travelled with and those we met there. And the bed.heavenly. We will definitely be returning.

Great little motel with friendly staff and very clean.
Walking distance to downtown square, restaurants, bars and wine tasting rooms. My only complaint was the cute retro refrigerator in the room was very loud, but solved the problem by unplugging it overnight.

This motel is completely adorable with nice decorations, in-room amenities and a great fire pit set up. Lovely being able to walk to restaurants but still have a quiet sleep. Convenient parking and an EV charger was a huge plus!

Cozy and quaint place. Staff was great. Outdoor firepit with seating area was awesome. Close to Downtown. Will definitely stay again.

It’s a really nice remodel of an old hotel (most likely). The walls were super thin. We could hear our neighbors talk. We could hear our neighbors breathe while they were sleeping! We could hear dogs barking (since they allow animals according to another guest review). Amenities weren’t amazing. Grab and go breakfast could also use a little work. Didn't give me the wow factor. Cute outdoor fire pit seating. Staff were nice though.
