20Stay away! I asked while ordering and they said they will accept my Groupon. Then they made me wait 10 minutes because they said only manager can process Groupon. Then the manager said no! I also showed the extra charges that I was not informed before and they said they cannot do anything about it!
Great breakfast. See photo. Pleasant vibe. Gracious service.
I occasionally visit Menlo Park for business. When I do, I try to have breakfast here. Not cheap but worth it.
Joe Biden food was good The service was great once we got service the waitress I guess decided not to wait on us and the waiter did forget his name but he was great
What a shame.
I have know this stablishment for over 2 decades and it has gone down-hill.
No flavor, no seasonnings, bland presentation very dissapointing.
Theis other location both in San Mateo and in SF up to a couple of years ago.
Kept their standard of food and service but here in Menlo Park is a catastrophe.
Have gone 2 times in 6 week and that will be the very last time.
Food is really good. I woke for the almond Carmel waffle. Service could be a little better but there are pretty busy most the time. Definitely recommend for brunch.
Bit difficult accessablility wise but once up the ramp the entrance, booth table placement was great.
The service and food was fantastic. Have the waffles so delicious.
Very good brunch place, had a really good time dining at this place. Service is great and the staff is welcoming. Their menu has extensive collection of items, lots of vegetarian options to try out. I’d say this is an ideal place for vegetarians to dine in. We ordered garden crepe and pesto omelette with sourdough bread and potatoes as sides, the portions were generous. A bit expensive place but definitely worth trying out, I’d surely recommend. They have ample seating available inside and outdoor as well.
The quality of food was mediocre And bland. The service was equivalent to Denny's after 2am on Friday night. Eat here at your own risk. I did against my better judgment
1. Had to wait for 20 mins before someone came to take our orders.
2. Food took long time to arrive.
3. Food didn't seem fresh (french fries and chicken hard to chew), coffee seemed stale, had to throw away.
The Carnitas Pancakes were a hit. Different but very good and paired well with the syrup. Definitely going back for the same thing.
Very cozy feel. Efficient and attentive service, fantastic chicken & waffles, will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
Nice atmosphere and great location. The waiters seemed motivated but we had several minor hickups (e.g. Forgotten orders). In addition, waiters seemed to rushed and that caused that I even could not finish a sentence sometimes.
Menu is huge and overwhelming, would clearly benefit from pictures.
My girlfriend and myself spend $55 including tip for a pretty average breakfast.

Update after using the bathroom for the first time in many visits: I recommend not to use the bathroom. In order to get to the bathroom, you have to go through a bit of a (shady) maze including a 4 digit access code. Going to the bathroom is a bit like a escape room:).
I sat outside and the service was prompt and kind. They have a separate gluten free menu you can request. I ordered the gluten free chocolate waffle with a side of egg and mimosa. All delicious! & The drink was perfectly strong ️
We walked in around 1045 on a Sunday.
Not a bad wait. We were seated immediately.
We were seated outside and the problem was there were tons of flies everywhere. Just hovering over the customers.
The food is very average diner food.
Sandwiches were kinda disappointing for the price. The side of show string fries are pretty good.
Coffee is good too.
We got a waffle and the batter had a funny smell and also tasted like it was old batter. The blueberry glaze was also so thick and not appealing.
A very busy place and the waiters don’t check on you much.
Overall, not recommended if you are looking for fresh food.
IHOP would be a cheaper option.
We had a very good and solid breakfast here, I ordered the meat lover’s omelette and it was quite good. Overall though, the atmosphere felt a bit forced (trying to be fancy) with similarly somewhat overpriced food. I wouldn’t say the experience/food taste justifies the high prices.
Food wasn’t great, subpar at best, cold, and unseasoned. Potatoes weren’t cooked at all, and the eggs were not fresh. Not worth the busy weekend wait. Go to IHOP.
The food is excellent but the service very poor and rudeness. The The person sitting people was rude. I asked for a table for 4 because my wife and I was waiting for our 2 friends, he said he will give us a table if the other two person was here and they need it to hurry up, i told him the if that was the case i will continue ordering, I said they are 5 minutes away. The way he said that was in the rude way, I think because they see us Latinos they treat us rude, they name of the guy was Moises.
I like that they had multigrain pancakes. Didn't like the cappuccino very much. Got a table without a reservation or wait on a weekend morning. Would be nice to have some more veggie options. Spacious and family friendly, and they have mimosas although I didn't see them on the menu. Prices are slightly high but probably make sense for the neighborhood.
Wonderful place to eat & we had a great waitress who was super nice! & we were visiting from out of town so it made it a awesome time:)
for our lunch time:)
Food was good. Price is reasonable. Service is different based on whether you are inside or outside. Took a bit long for us to get the bill. Water wasn't replenished once during the hour and a half we passed there (we were outside)
