Stacks Pancake House reviews
19Tanya is the best, this place has hands down the best breakfast ever my absolute favorite the customer service is number one the food is the best quality the atmosphere everything first class all the way highly recommended. UPDATE- 1.24 I was just there a few days ago and thought I would try something different so I got the banana pancakes and I knew they would be good but oh my God absolutely amazing like seriously amazing!
I ordered a sandwich that had a pic grey bug in lettuce. It was disgusting. They made me another but it was hard to eat. My sister could not eat her sandwich.
I am disgusted the lack of attention to the cleanliness of lettuce. The one lady came to asked what silver fish looked like. She did say she was sorry. My sister and I will not be returning.
Food is very mediocre! My beans came out cold and the rest was luke warm! It’s a fast food place to eat so be prepared for no customer service experience. You order just like a fast food restaurant and take your food and find a place to sit. No server to come even refill coffee! And the food was pretty bland!
Looking for a place to have breakfast, and we found this place, small place and kinda crowded it, I ordered the huevos ranchero, and they were good, but the beans had a weird taste and I didn't eat it, service was good
Had the bacon and eggs, with macadamia nut pancakes. Everything was very good. Service was quick! Highly recommend this place. Lots of patio dining as well.
Highly recommend.
Came here for breakfast, ordered the Kailua pork & cabbage and it took me back home to Hawaii.
The Mac salad was on point along with the pork.
If you are Black do not eat here. Everytime I added something to my order Hispanic lady kept mentioning price. I told her stop mentioning price and she refused take my order. She definitely reminded me of a evil 5 foot troll, but her karma already here, trash women.
I ordered two kids grilled cheese and they came with half a sandwich, not a whole sandwich. My kids were not happy, they were still hungry. Please make the kids grilled cheese a whole sandwich’s or at least allow parents to buy a whole sandwich.
PLACED MY ORDER, my family agrees on what i ordered.the wrong food came out, went back in told them what i ordered again order came out wrong, order 4 pancakes, 2 came out, went back in a 3rd time and was told if i want 4 i have to stand in line and pay for the extra 2. Hum, 3 wrong times you brought out my order, you would think they would just give me the 2 pancakes.check your receipt before you leave the register this is the 3rd time this has happened to me.
Happen to stop by here on the way to Laguna Beach. Really cool place to have breakfast.large selection of choices on the menu. Service was quick. Plenty of seating. Food was good! Would definitely come back.
Tbh the food was a little plain and tasted a little bland even with their green salsa poured over it. Even the green salsa is so mild and bland. But there are healthy options on the menu. Service was good. Food came out quickly and hot.
Most of the food is ok- but in a very honest opinion, the hype and prices are too high for the end product.
We ordered a bit of everything to sample and the waffles and pancakes were not, the French toast was ok and the Hawaiian bread was a nice sweet addition, and the eggs were oily but ok.
Portions were generous but price for the taste and quality was a bit unbalanced.
Great place, food was great and came out quickly, staff was friendly and facility was clean. Great outdoor atmosphere too! Give it a try.
At first I wasn't in love with this place, because at the end of the day it's just overpriced pancakes, bad crepes, etc, but after a few times I found one specific order that I enjoyed (Oreo pancakes with white lava sauce and macadamia nuts) that was great. It only cost $18 though. You used to be able to ask for the white lava sauce on the side and get it for free, but now they just give a tiny portion. I would give
I’ve gone here countless times with family and friends. The food is great and enjoyed it each time. I would highly recommend their fruity pebbles French toast, Oreo pancakes with white lava sauce (customizable), and you can’t go wrong with their crepes. I wouldn’t recommend this spot if you’re vegan though. They have vegan options, but each time I’ve tried to order, they said they’re out of it, which was disappointing so never got around to trying it. If you don’t have diet restrictions, this place is great and delicious.
Ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Kalbi plate lunch. Loved the Hawaii vibes and the outdoor seating. Will definitely eat here again. So many things on the menu we would like to try.
Amazing food. We come here every time we come to Newport. Never disappoints. The guava toffee French toast and the loco moco is legit!
The place is overpriced and they don’t take responsibility for their bad cooking, they served burned waffles and refused to replace it, they don’t care about the customers at all, just money
Gave us cold food. Also they served my kid burnt waffles. When we ask them to switch them out they said they couldn’t. The waitress acted like she couldn’t speak English instead of just acting professionally. I think this place deserves negative on the food.
