Stanford Avenue Parking Area reviews
6 6: 30 AM STRICTLY ENFORCED. SUBJECT TO $300 FINE.
This is the beginning to the Mission Peak trail, but parking early in the morning is not recommended as there are a lot of residents nearby. There is more parking further down the street (Vineyard Ave).
This is the place to start hiking Mission Peak from Stanford side. This parking lot has 43 spots but the parking lot fills up fast by 6 am or so. Also the streets around this have Permit Parking and the enforcement is very strict. The parking ticket costs cool $180. So be very careful parking around this place.
Parking is limited but its a shorter hike in comparison to starting at Oline.
The entry to mission peak. It’s a very small lot so you might have to park farther away.
The parking lot here is free, but the parking space is quite small, so when I arrived around 10: 30 on Sunday morning, it was already full. There is an area where you can park for free on the road nearby, but it is also packed with cars parked on the road. You couldn't get free street parking unless you went quite far. However, it is a place where you can park your car for free and enjoy the wonderful trails, so please come and check it out.
SASA is a small parking lot at the Mission Peak Reserve Park. It has a maximum capacity of ~43 cars. Thus, this parking lot gets full very quickly. However, there are street parking available just a block or two away. Overall, its a clean parking lot with great view of the hills.
