Stanton optical does not have a fax machine in Stockton California the location of Pacifica they do not want to release my eye prescription to another optometrist they are the worst people working behind that desk just because I don't want to purchase glasses from first a girl tells me they don't have a fax machine and then I questioned about it about being a major company and then she tells me so it's broke she is lying

I went to have an eye exam on August 18th, 2023 to get a prescription for glasses and contacts. I went there because my regular optometrist was booked, and I needed these asap. I was a bit disappointed to the fact that after the exam, Dr.didn’t discuss the diagnosis with me at all. She was nice and patient, but were I normally go, Dr.explains everything and asks if I have any questions. Well, I was supposed to get trial contact lenses by the following Wednesday 08/23/23 according to the lady at front desk. They didn’t have the contacts at hand due to the strength of my prescription. It’s 08/30/23, and I am still waiting. I have called to check status of my order, but they keep telling me they have not received it. Today I called and spoke to Addi who is the manager of the store. She was very rude and not helpful at all. I told her I was going to call back to speak to someone who was more helpful (not knowing she was the manager) and she said, “you do that” and hung up the phone on me. I went there even though I have Kaiser because my daughter had an eye check up, got glasses and contacts (I spent close to $600), and I was happy with the service. After today, as soon as I get what I’m waiting for, they will not see me or my daughter there. I will not refer anyone there as I was doing. Customer service is very important to me, and today the manager failed the test.
08/31/23-An update on my contacts order. I called today to recheck on my order. I spoke to Vanessa.who was nice on the phone, and she informed me that my order was “re-ordered” due to the delay of the previous order. Now, I have to wait for an additional 5 working days to get it. After my review, I got a response from Stanton (Corporate office?) and gave me a number to call, so someone can make things right. I spoke to Marcella who after patiently heard my complaint simply told me that they couldn’t do anything to resolve this issue. I just have to wait until the order arrives, and that if I was looking for compensation, I needed to talk to the store I went to and deal with it there. Really? Did she get that I just wanted my contact lenses? I guess I have to wait and go to the next step! What a disappointment!
09/28/23-I still haven’t got my contact lenses and despite of my calls to corporate office regarding CUSTOMER SERVICE and not receiving the product I originally went for, NOBODY has contacted me about this issue. I went to Kaiser, got a new exam and already received my full contacts order and my glasses. I wasted my time and money at Stanton.

Great prices, selection and customer service. Worth the drive. Doctors are remote but the exam was the same none the less. Quick and was able to get trail contacts while I waited for my glasses for 7-10 days.

Whew, I should have read the reviews here before I tried to book an appointment. I scheduled an appointment online through their website yesterday for a time slot that they had available for this evening. I received an email confirmation and everything that my appointment was set. I received two missed calls and voicemails this morning— the first one asking to confirm my appointment for today, and the second one saying that they don’t have appointments at the time I had scheduled… um, I’m just going by what your website offers? I’m not sure if they’re just pressed for trying to close early or what, but the fact that the appointment time was available on their website and they called to confirm in the first place and then circled back to say my appointment was “last minute” (mind you, they advertise that they take walk-ins as well) is SHADY enough for me to not want to even TRY my luck with this location. Thank goodness the customer service number took the time to listen to my situation and help me rebook with the Lodi location for a future date.

My father has been attempting to get his lenses corrected …they provided him with lenses that he was not able to see with as they were incorrect. They made him take another exam adding to the wait time.weeks later he is still dealing with the problem and as he went to pick them up the lenses fell out in front of him and tried to send him home with them anyways.

It seems like they are unable to provide caring or professional customer service making people run around in circles and make excuses after excuses. And to top it off they offer cheap quality material.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SAVE YOUR TIME! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I will not go back to this again. I paid much for glasses until now I don't use i feel dizzy using. And it twice already to let them fix it still the same. What a waste!

I'm very disappointed with this place.
Extremely bad service they lost my daughter's glasses wen we took them to repair them they lost the note and they wanted us to pay for the lenses the person in from desk was very unhelpful and very unfriendly didn't seem to Care about the situation nor yo help us out all she mept sayi g we had yo pay for lenses that we had already pay and we even have Iinsurance on it and she acted like it was out of her hand's when infact they lost everything and they never call to tel us know and it too 3 month if we didn't go in person they never would of call at all. They lost my business. Who ever read this I advice you to go somewhere else they are not what they say to be.

What a great experience from they eye doctor to the receptionist was 5 stars ️! Thank you for the wonderful experience! Tamberlynn was amazing! Highly recommend them

I must say that I am completely dissatisfied with the service that I received from Stanton Optical.
Unfortunately, after three weeks of receiving my new pair of glasses one lens fell out and I am not able to find the missing lens.
I contacted Stanton Optical Customer Service; I spoke to a representative named "Roger".
I explained the situation that the glasses are not damaged and the one lens that is still in place is loose in the frame, but I am not able to locate the lens that became detached.
Roger was not willing to help me with my situation, instead Roger wanted to charge me for the replacement lens.
As noted above, after only three weeks one lens came out of the frame and the remaining lens is loose in the frame, most importantly there is no misuse or damage to this pair of glasses, the workmanship for this pair of glasses is defective.
The most disappointing part is Roger was not willing to help me with my situation, maybe some type of compromise would be in order.
Once my concerns were clearly not going to be addressed, I requested to speak with another customer service representative, Roger denied my request.
This type of customer service is inexcusable.
Please note, my second pair of glasses has been delayed for approximately three weeks.
I humbly request my missing lens be replaced at no charge due to defective workmanship or I return my current pair and cancel the outstanding pair for a full refund.

First time using contacts, came to pick up the trial because they didn’t have any on hand and they didn’t explain the process at all. When I asked them to they couldn’t tell me a clear answer. It’s so unprofessional that I have to figure this on my own even though they’re the optometrists and I’ve never worn contacts.
Update: I looked inside the package and it didn’t give me any instructions and so I got more mad, stormed inside and explained my situation to the lady at the front desk. She calmed me down and was able to explain everything to me. Her name is Tamberlynn and I would give her customer service 10/10.
I am grateful she helped me out but I do wish I would’ve not had to go demand explanation to begin with.

Amera was such a kind a patient person I went go there for a check usp and was confused on what glasses to get she was knowledgeable in everything she went above and beyond for me. She is the best worker they have there! I couldn’t have picked a better staff. This will now be my number one choice in all my optometry needs. Thank you for taking your time with me! Being older I’m not as fast as I used to be so thank you for your kindness!

Everyone is very friendly! They get you in and out with your eye exam. I didn't have to wait at all and they have a great selection of frames to choose from!

They tried charging me 97 for an eye exam when the price is 59 with no insurance. And the person I spoke to was the supposed manager. Never again.
