Horrible customer service from 2 employees in copy center. Employee up front was embarrassed by their behavior. I will never go back

A very nice staff. I think their team leader is an excellent sales manager that knows his products like the back of his hand. It allows him to match your needs with his best match for you. I think his name is Derek, but not sure. Very happy with my experience today.

Date: 8/18/22
Time: Approximately 5: 15PM-5: 30PM
Complaint: We felt profiled and we’re made uncomfortable by half of the employees.

My significant other and I visited this Staples location on 8/18/22 between 5: 15PM and 5: 30PM to buy School supplies that included pens, pencils, a sharpener, binder, planner, and other materials. When we first arrived we noticed one of the employees, a man with a neck beard who kept staring at us as we looked through the school bins that had materials for sale in the front of the store. Okay, no problem, we understand how loss prevention is a priority and didn’t think much of it. Continuing into the main pencil/pen aisle we could feel someone staring at us. Looking up, I find the bearded man looking at us from the entrance of the aisle. He almost wakes from a trance and stumbles to walk away. Weirded out now, and highly uncomfortable, we continued shopping and head into the back aisle which holds a wall of binders. That’s when we notice another employee, a short female with medium length curly dark brown hair at the back end of the wall. She was in stagnation, not doing inventory or restocking. When she noticed she had caught my attention, she made her way into an aisle, disappearing. The whole shopping experience was quite unpleasant, especially when we realized we were being observed as possible “thieves”. (We realized this early on, as they kept staring at us, indiscreetly might I add!) I’m all for loss prevention, but the employees could be a little more tactful in their approach. I was literally fuming by the time we got to the cashier. Thankfully, the cashier was very sweet and helpful. There was also another worker who was blonde and tall, he was nice and asked if we found everything okay. He was more mature in his approach. We will be sure to NOT visit this location anymore. Do not recommend!

I have always had good experiences at this Staples. But I had to write a review about my recent experience. I came to print out a poster mounted to foam board and some memorial programs for my Mom’s upcoming service. Emily was so kind and efficient helping get my order set up and telling me about an available coupon, which I really appreciated. I wasn’t expecting to have the order ready until a few days, but it was ready the next day! The staples team included a condolences card too. I started crying when I got home because it just touched my heart. Thank you Emily - your kindness will be remembered.

I wish I had a better experience. It was my first time there and at least one female worker appeared nice and helped me, however I'm wondering if this was because the manager had the associates eyeing me and my partner from racially profiling us the moment we walked in. Everywhere we walked someone would be there trying to "help, " even at check out the manager stood there and thought we left without anything and said "no luck dude" and caught himself after noticing we were paying. You could feel the tense hawking and profiling in the air. Sorry not sorry but I'm not surprised management thinks they are doing something in there but aren't it's almost pitiful.

Well I'm too occasions I had to the opportunity to visit Staples and each time I go it's a pleasure young lady named Emily happened to be the one that helped me both times and she has the brightest smile and she was just so helpful I wish everybody exemplified her kind and caring customer service way to go Staples and she deserves to raise

Derek was amazing, friendly, and a good salesman. My mom said he is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I went in to get a print job done and waited for 45 minutes as the girl behind the counter continued to wait on other people who came in AFTER me, because they were "just picking up an order", except helping them took 45 minutes while I sat and waited to get my print job started. After almost an hour I left. People should be helped in the order they walk in, and not feel pushed aside while others are helped who walked in later. Really poor customer service!

Helpful and patient employees, but the real shocker is how many different types of ink there are.
Like. That's too many different types of ink.
