Star Crab, Upland CA

Very delicious and like most seafood pricey. They were a little rude but maybe because they were busy.

My experiences here are always great! Great customer service! If your a beginner and want something simple I recommend getting the 1 pound of shrimp, full house, mild. YOU WILL LOVE IT!

We were passing through from an appointment, and decided to get a bag to go home I ordered almost everything in it. But when we got home it was missing the clams, it only had five scallops, the lobster tail was very small, she charged me almost $20 for it. Not returning because I was way over charged, I paid $150. Not worth it! And it was super salty.

Food was colorful the flavor didn't stick to ther food at all. This place had nothing on kickin crab, boiling crab, and hot n juicy- not in flavor, not in price. Their overall 4.6 rating has to be based on the customer service.

If you enjoy getting your hands a little dirty peeling shrimp this place is for you! Quaint restaurant and lots to choose from! We were hungry so didn't get to take pictures of our peel n shrimp orders.

I ordered to go and 2 minutes later my food came out which mean the food wasn’t made fresh! If I wanted fast food I would of went to a fast food restaurant! For that I won’t be returning here!

This place was absolutely incredible. My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try this place for years, and I’m honestly sad we didn’t try it sooner.

The menu items are up there, but reasonably priced for the incredible seafood. Wonderfully seasoned and fresh, so many different combos and sauces and sides to choose from! They have great appetizers, too.

The wait staff are so sweet and helpful, especially if there’s a particular shellfish that you don’t know how to de-shell, they’ll teach you!

I dont think my date would of went as good if we had eaten elsewhere.

I had fish and chips. Simple, nothing fancy, but good tasting. Not a very large place, but decorated nicely. Seemed about average proceed. The hostess explained some other dishes that sounded interesting. So a good reason to come back again.

Fantastic little spot! We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into, and it was a little hands on and a lotta awesome! Great seafood choice for sure.

I really enjoy going to this small seafood place. Very similar to boiling crab and i want to say the prices are a tad bit lower. Taste is amazing and owners are super friendly and helpful. Almost always there. Definitely family owned. Only downer (would've made it 5 star) kids menu is close to none. They have chicken nuggets, but no so kid friendly i would say. At least not for my boys who aren't into seafood.

So delicious! Superior customer service, fresh and fast well seasoned and prepared shrimp and scallops. I can hardly wait to return. Fabulous

Fantastic small venue with great food. Wish there was something green on the menu though. Some veggies with that great shellfish would be good.

Horrible customer service, the worst I have seen in years. Mad claw is way better even in food. If there was a zero star rating I would have given it. Absolute disgrace.

An elderly relative likes to raise the blinds to sit in the sun and smoke inside. If you want to be blinded by the mid day sun and surrounded by cigarette smoke come on down. If you have asthma like me, stay away! Dont expect a discount or working A/C either. Food was ok, but wish this happened at the beginning of my meal, makes me think what other laws/things are broken in the kitchen. The women's bathroom inner door handle is broken too.

I am considering going, just have a hard time with "heads on". Can I order without heads?

Been passing this place by for a year but always wanted to try it. Finally did.and I was mad at myself for waiting so long. It was great. The food, the customer service, the ambiance! It’s Upland’s hidden jewel. I totally recommend this place. Beats the Boiling Crab or Hot n Juicy any day!

Very tasty. Got full house shrimp and garlic lemon scallops on waitress suggestion. Had my doubts when pulling up but everything was excellent. Friendly staff. Yes the old lady smokes and taps the table but just engage her.

Really great Cajun crab boil without the long wait from the other places. I don't know why I haven't tried this place sooner. It's got a great atmosphere and ice cold beers. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a shot, you won't be disappointed.
