Children will practice empathy as they volunteer with injured animals and learn about wildlife. STAR Eco Station is a science museum that houses illegally-trafficked exotic animals that were captured by the Fish and Wildlife Service. It’s a chance to see exotic creatures while helping a great cause.

Participate in hands-on rescue activities, learn about these colorful and rare creatures, and practice conservation techniques. There is an eco-camp where children can get more involved with the organization as well.

I brought my partner's 5 &1/2 year old, she enjoyed all of the spaces except for making a music video, which she was just a little too shy for. We took Bart and came on a Thursday, it was an easy walk and not crowded today. We had a blast.

Lovely place to see animals up close. Parrot near the front office is a showstealer! Was a bit hard to find an entrance, follow the signs and don't wear fancy shoes.

Best place hands down! For everything. From just going to visit to having a party. All the staff is so knowledgeable. And the animals are there for reasons that need to known to the public. Just had my daughters 12th Birthday there and it was amazing.

Pricing information would've been great online, but upon arrival and with the given tour, i was amazed at the information the tour leader gave and had to give. What was more impressive was the wide variety of wildlife that EcoStation helps maintain. You will learn about some interesting background stories that all the pets have. It was great for me and my family and we truly enjoyed it.

Great family fun.
When people ask me for suggestions about great things to do that are kid friendly, Eco Station is top on my list.
If you have never been you should check it out.
One of the great boutique environmental science museums around.

I used to go to summer camp and volunteer here. All the animals are very well taken care of and the work they do is amazing. I strongly suggest you give them a visit.

Definitely worth the trip! It only takes an hour to do the tour. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about all the animals in the facility. It's hot and humid in the enclosures, but we had a great time. It's reasonably priced and worth checking out. The kids even get to interact with some of the animals.

Kids loved it. The guided tour where you learn about the residents is very informative. Worth the admission that also helps support the care of these critters.

Loved this place! Remeber it from when I was a kid, but somehow enjoyed it more as an adult. Its a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon and pet some reptiles! They also have animals up for adpotion which is a major plus. You'll get an awesome education on the sea life and mammals. Definitely a fun spot for children.

My son and I love this place. They have cool animals and the entrance fee (can't remember prices) and donations are all for a good cause. Definitely worth my money although I do wish it was a little bigger. But overall a good place to take the kids.
