We recently used these guys upon recommendation from a friend of ours and we are extremely happy that we did. We shopped Home Depot and Lowes and were just about to work with Lowes when we decided to talk to Star and at the end of the day, they had the best product and were competitive with their pricing and were great about working within our schedule. That was how we made our decision. The work? Excellent. Bill King was our rep, and the communication with him after we made our decision to go with them was seamless and totally responsive, and the crew that installed the flooring were professional and fast. They had the carpet torn out of our 1500 sq.ft.house and new hard flooring installed in less than two days and it looks great! Everything exceeded all of our expectations. I would not recommend this company. Recently they have been bombarding my email box soliciting my business in the event of unforeseen emergencies. It just so happened that I had a project with some minor water damage to some flooring, so I thought I would give them a call. The estimator Ken called me back within an hour and we set up an appointment for the next day. There was a very small section of flooring which needed to be replaced and we had the material on site. So, I requested he give me a quote to have their guy come out and replace the selected boards. The following day I called Ken and asked about the quote. Ken stated he was way behind on estimates. Essentially, what Ken was really saying is “I am so busy looking at work that I don’t have time to write up quotes. ” LOL Pretty hard to stay in business that way. I told him before he went to the trouble of writing up a formal proposal for my tiny job, just text me a number, and I would tell him to move forward with the formal proposal. I thought it might make his job a little bit easier. That’s what I thought. Ken agreed to text me later that day. Well, as of writing this review, I haven’t heard from Ken at all (7 days). Pretty sad when your estimator can’t quote a $500 job. I hope others have had better luck than me. If you have an unforeseen emergency as they state in their email, DON’T call them. Very poor service.

This is the second time I’ve worked with Star flooring to remodel my living room floor and once again it has been an absolute pleasure. They are so professional and affordable. This time I worked with Bill King who was so patient and helpful. He answered all our questions and attended to all our concerns even at the very last moment before the install. I am very pleased. We switched from the carpet they installed about 5 years ago to vinyl plank, each time we were provided high quality and professional service. Thank you

A pipe leaked behind a wall, we contacted our insurance, and were given the information for STAR. I think 'our' representative, David, was there assessing the situation the next day. This was our first incident with our homeowners insurance and remediation. He was fantastic! He explained that we needed to get a plumber to assess and stop the leak, that they would be covered by us, that the drywall repair and extensive floor damage would be for the insurance to determine. He assessed the damage of floor and drywall. The plumber he suggested was timely, good, worked neatly, nice and professional. Then the remediation team came, testing, blowers and dehumidifiers. While all that was going on, David worked with our insurance adjuster to determine options for repair/replacing drywall, door, doorframe and old school hardwood floors. David was able to work with our insurance to ensure the 'right thing' was done, and that the floors were repaired and refinished to match throughout the house. That involved a pack out, relocation and pack in. The floors are gorgeous! On our own dime, we hired STAR to upgrade the molding. It is great. The crew worked so hard to get installation done in one day. They even fixed the dryer connection on their own which they noticed the pack in company didn't do correctly. Each and every tradesperson was nice, friendly, professional, skilled and hardworking. David made us feel like we were his only job! It really felt like we were the 'priority' even though we know there was a lot going on at other homes. Fingers crossed we don't ever have a leak/flood again, but if we do, we would use them again. David is a fantastic 'face' of the business. Thank you STAR.

Highly recommend Star! I requested a quote and Julian came out the next day to measure and was able to provide me written quote that evening. The process to get everything arranged was very easy! Willy and his crew came and installed. They were here for like 10 minutes and the carpet was already out. They were quick and efficient and helped move the bigger items from the room. They even swept before leaving.

The flooring looks perfect!
