We had Margherita pizza, fish tacos and chilaquiles. Everything was good. Service was good. For fish tacos it was okay, I am not big fan of heavily battered fish in the tacos. It had good crunch tho.

Chilaquiles were great! It was served with salad, good combination of flavors.

We easily got a seat in the patio, recommend!

Great spot, never disappointed here. Tasty cocktails and friendly service too. Very cute vibe -back patio is especially lovely!

Music from last night and brunch. Bright environment with great staff. The food is great they take care of the ingredients, actually got my burger at medium rare and the French toast was perfect.

Delicious! Our amazing waiter even marked the menu to show what options are gluten-free (or could be made gluten free). Just note the dumplings are not in fact gluten free! Wanted to post here so others could use as a reference:)

Ordered burger via cavier. Best burger. This was better than any burger I’ve had from anywhere and I’ve tried them all. Quality of meat was excellent. No weird sauces. Had the char grilled flavor. Most burger do not deliver well. This was very warm and no soggy bun.

Their Loco Moco is a better interpretation of the conventional Hawaiian dish. It's acceptable and sweet, with quality fixings. It was cooked flawlessly. Add the avocado:)

Veggie burger was delicious, came in at 945 PM and service was great and speedy. Drinks overall were great. Clean bathroom, fairly clean.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff, and located in the castro! The food was amazing and there was a lot to choose from.

Got the veggie burger, goat cheese dumplings, gazpacho, and a couple signature cocktails.

Veggie burger was genuinely bad. Very dry. Goat cheese dumplings were amazing. Green Gazpacho was pretty refreshing and decent, we used it as a sauce for the dry burger.

The tequila cocktail lacked alcohol and when pointed out to the waitress she offered to bring us an extra shot and after we thankfully obliged ended up charging us for both the cocktail and shot anyways. My gin cocktail was great though.

The service was off putting. Waitress started out nice and then became increasingly judgmental. Tried to pressure us to get the 7 dumplings instead of 4 and seemed disappointed when we didn’t. We got the check pretty early without asking for it (were planning on trying some more drinks but oh well) she also forgot to bring a side of Mayo for the burger but that’s not really a big deal.

So overall a 3/5. For the price, the value wasn’t so great.

Worst service ever. Food was ok, but for the price and time we went completely unacceptable. Took us 20 minutes to even get a first round of drinks. Very unprofessional and I would never support that business again. I usually don't leave reviews unless they are above and beyond or not worth the time and energy.

Had a great meal at starbelly last night — food was excellent and the crowd was pretty lively for a Monday. More impressive than any of that, however was the service. After my friend took a quick phone call outside and I hopped to the bathroom for 30 seconds our table (an appetizer and 2 drinks) got cleared [quite an attentive busboy! ] It was honestly my mistake for not letting them know I was running to the bathroom, but nonetheless our drinks and appetizer were re made quickly with many apologies and no cost. Fantastic job all around.

Overall: Great place to have brunch over the weekend. Parking is easy to find - lots of free spaces on the streets.
Food: I love their French toast! It’s crispy and not too sweet The Loco Moco dish is alright, a bit salty tho. My friend ordered Sunnyside Joe’s and said the beef was juicy and tasted good.
Service: our server was great. Though he seemed very busy and not always around, it wasn’t hard to find him and ask for things.

Maybe the team is rusty post-pandemic? Someone else’s food delivered to our table (a total miss given it was food for four people and our table was larger), a burger delivered rare that was ordered medium well, and a server too busy to visit more than the absolute minimum. Seems the team needs more practice together. Except for the pate. Absolutely heaven.

We really enjoyed our meal at Starbelly. Both indoor and outdoor seating options as well as a back patio that is partially inside. The marhherita pizza was good, but the stone fruit and burrata was amazing!

This simple rustic restaurant is full of energy and good vibe. It has a semi-open kitchen, so you can see all the actions when the food is prepared, and it also has a back-yard under a tent like a German style beer garden. The food is very savory and tasty but not overly heavy. The service is great in that the attentive staff is always there when you need them, and makes excellent recommendations, but they'll leave you alone to enjoy the food, when you don't need them. Overall, we love this restaurant and will definitely come back.

Dined in their semi open patio, which was pretty. The corn pizza and the asparagus were both delightful! Pizza is tomato sauce free, so it ended up almost being flatbread like, with a really tasty crust.

Lovely patio, great service, yummy cocktails. My table split dishes so we tried a lot, the pizzas are the real star dish. The chicken and waffles was decent but I've had better, Italian eggs same, a little bland but nothing was bad or not enjoyable. The pizzas were the obvious stand out, amazing crust, perfectly cooked, great flavors. It's easy to get last minute reservations here and the ambiance makes for a cute brunch.

Dinner has always been great. I've been four times now. The staff is helpful, friendly, and attentive without being invasive. They also know their menus.

I've yet to have trouble getting a reservation time I'm interested in, and reservations are recommended. Even on a busy Friday night, once, we were able to be seated relatively soon given that we walked up that night.

I've eaten a good cross section of the menu, and I can't find fault with anything: however, depending on the chef your dish might be prepared with slight differences compared to a different night.

I'd recommend this place to anyone.
