Starbucks, San Jose CA

Was nice to order an iced coffee and actually get charged correctly. Sometimes I wind up paying for a quad latte but get an iced coffee but who's got time to deal with that nonsense.

The workers here are always so nice and quick! And one worker in particular, I believe her name is Marianna, is so sweet and helpful! My drinks always turn out perfect. She really deserves a raise. Oh and they spelled my name right:)

Do you try 1 shot, 2 pumb. The ice coffee is very good.

This Starbucks is inside Target. I bought a pike place roast and it was watered down and very average, not the regular Starbucks standard brew.

Considering it's located inside a Target rather than being stand-alone, I was initially reluctant to try this Starbucks location out as a study/work spot. But I'm so glad I gave it a try: there is usually no crowd on weekdays (or even weekends) since folks seem to stop here only briefly after their Target run to pick up a quick take-out drink, the one table that's near the electric charge point is usually available and I tend to use it for my laptop, the staff has always been SUPER friendly and rarely seem to mind if I study their for an hour or two, their black drip coffees are great and pair really well with their chocoloaye chip cookie. Now their chocolate chip cookie deserves it's own separate review: they are*large* in both diameter and thickness, just the right level of sweet, and when warmed (the barista is always happy to do so), they are softand dripping from the generous amounts of milk chocolate chips. The crowd at the nearby Target checkout lines (especially the tiny tots) is a pleasant distraction when the eyes need some rest from computer use. Restrooms are also easily accessible right by the Target return area adjacent to the Starbucks. It's actually come to become one of my favorite study spots!

Nice kids working for a low pay. They represent the company well. I wish the company would appreciate them more.
