State Fare Bar & Kitchen reviews
19I'd compare the food to just about any other chain restaurant (think olive garden, outback steakhouse, etc.) NOT UP TO PAR WITH WHAT ONE WOULD EXPECT FROM "THE RITZ-CARLTON". Upon arrival we were greeted by atrocious dirty lounge chairs in the main entrance (valet area) Everyone's main course was ho-hum, nothing stood out flavor wise & was quite forgettable. The best part of the meal was our appetizer (fried Avocado) hard to mess up. The desserts were sickening sweet.
Celebrated my birthday at State Fare Bar & Kitchen. Thank you a memorable, amazing, and perfect evening. The Service was phenomenal, thank you Alan. The dinner was off the charts. Every course was total perfection in presentation and taste. I could not have asked for a more ideal birthday dinner!
We are locals but love to come up to the Ritz Carlton for a snack or a drink. We bring lots of visitors here. State Fare Bar and Kitchen is part of the Ritz Carlton property. It sits on a hill so the view in the evening is beautiful. There is lots of outside seating along with inside seating and the bar areas. You can get a delicious burger or chicken sandwich along with a lot of other items. We always get great service and leave content.
Beautiful location on the mountain with views. It is friendly and not stuffy. Staff is professional and anticipates your needs. Christian, our server was great. I took my husband for his Father's Day, had a nice time. Be sure to walk around after dinner, views are amazing!
Just had $180 breakfast for 2. Tried 2 steak and eggs, 2 lattes, side of fruit, French toast to share, side of avocado.steak and eggs $35, tenderloin was like beef stew type in tomato sauce, would not recommend. We asked for sunny side up eggs and didn’t get it. French toast was good. We asked for side of fruit, we checked the bill we got, entree version of fruit $22, instead of side fruit. Fruit was fresh and good, just wrong order. Latte $9, lattes were just ok, regular coffee may be better. They only had a La carte menu for breakfast. Patio dining was nice; service wasn’t bad either, but not sure if we will order what we ordered knowing what we know now.
Food and drinks are amazing. Service was aweful at best. Stephany, the hostest, was so condescending and rude we left. Definatly not what you would expect from the Ritz-Carlton
Owning a place less than a half of mile we’ve gone several times. This is the third time we’ve gone and again disappointed. Overpriced food. Cocktails…ok? (Better at Tommy Bahamas) service good. The Ritz in Maui…. Worth every dollar. Please get it together.
This place is very good the service is awesome. Alan did a great job with service anything you needed he was there to help out. Definitely recommend the crispy shrimp it was very good. Unfortunately my wife had to send her porkchop back twice because it was way too raw. We have also been here for breakfast and it was very good. Also the bread was extremely good
Booked a birthday for outside. They don’t promise a table, but I want to say if you have more than four people like 5 there are only two tables on patio with MANY four person tables
Many empty two person tables in front of bar. Rules forbid adding one chair.
So, with two 11: 00 reservations they were unable to accommodate a 12 noon outdoor seating reservation for a very special occasion. Management for large hotel is not on top of this.
With that spectacular view, the draw is to be outside. Our server was inexperienced, late and seating staff is not helpful and slow. As for the food. I belong to multiple food organizations
The salads are all excellent. Ahi nachos very good. Their pizza margarita was served 1/2 done. Worst ever.
We brought a Vintage champagne from our cellar. $45.00 corkage fee. Not the typical $30 which other restaurants offer. Their Rombauer Sauvignon blanc was excellent.
Amazing location!
The view is superb!
The service by Raphael was top notch!
Excellent steak so tender and juicy and the wedges wonderful
Excellent champagne and wines list
Definitely a wonderful place for couples.
A GEM ️
Great food, service and patio. Nice views of the property and spa area. Perfect spot for a business or casual lunch.
Had dinner at State Fare at Ritz Carlton and here's perhaps what you can expect. Very good service. Good food, not stellar food but not like The Outback food as one reviewer suggested. Stellar is if it's inspired and unique with taste, plating etc.this is good food.
The service was excellent and the view was, as you can imagine if you've looked at the photos, amazing.
Price for a table of 4 with bottle of wine and mocktails is going to push $400, just fyi. For $400 the food should be stellar but it was still a memorable experience and the food was not bad at all.
Order the avocado app, btw.
Stopped by for lunch at State Fare. Salad and prime burger were great. Service was outstanding as well. Most of all, the view out from patio was just wonderful.
I have been to State Fare several times, always for lunch. The service is usually outstanding & they have some great local beer options. I wish there was a little more variety on the menu, but I've been very pleased with my choices (great burger).
Had a superb breakfast here to start the day off. Feeling totally relaxed and gastronomically satisfied.
The place is clean, the staff are friendly but not intrusive and the food is fresh and tasty.
We had a relaxed meal and recommend a visit.
Nice view of the desert and great service. Good food and my drink was great! I'll be back!
As my girlfriend is Canadian and hasn't ever been up to see the view of the valley from here we went and enjoyed a cocktail and of course the view from the patio. The staff are tremendous and they make sure everything is just right but they are not overwhelming you either. If you haven't been you need to go and of course you will want to return many times.
This is a great place to watch the sunset and have a cocktail and a bite. Great views and relaxing atmosphere
We had a great time. Spot is perfect but the food is sub par. You don't get this view at Outback, but the food is better at Outback as a comparison. Great service and great ambiance. A NY strip is $100. A bit pricey for what you get.
