Stater Bros. Markets, Covina CA

I usually go to this Stater Bros when it's on my way for that particular day. I don't know why, but I don't like this store as much as the one on Azusa Avenue in West Covina. When I'm in a hurry and I need to pick something up, I go here. I can usually get in and out pretty quickly.

We ordered two family size sandwiches for Super Bowl. Each sandwich hardly had any meat (roast beef, ham and turkey). When we cut the sandwiches there was no meat on three to four inches on EACH side of the sandwiches! How embarrassing to serve a meatless sandwich to our family. Won't order again.

Renovated Stater Bros. It's clean and organized. Clerks are nice and fast. One of the nicer Stater Bros in the SGV.

Stater Brothers always have everything I need, and the employees are always very nice an helpful. Store manager is always there to lend an ear. To help make things more enjoyable.

Known first for their meats, the reputation is well-deserved. The butchers will cut a thicker steak or do whatever you want. The precut fresh fruit trays are good, the bakery and deli are good. And I like shopping at a locally-owned store even if it's a chain. The checkers are friendly, making eye contact - something those in a lot of places don't do, especially during the pandemic.

This store is very clean inside. Butcher department is great and the produce is excellent. Love this store

Large beautiful store. Very polite and friendly employees. Wide selection of a plethora of different products. Excellent butcher section with a great variety of prime cut meats, and they'll season your meat for you if requested.

Stater Bros is one of my favorite grocery market. This one in particular so far is my favorite, the staff is awesome and the unit very organized and clean at least to my standards. ️

I enjoy shopping at Stater Bros, I'm a regular at the Azusa Stater but n Covina there's a lot of parking

My father went to Stater brothers today. He was going to purchase 16 steaks to Celebrate Mother’s Day tomorrow. But he was told he could not purchase all 16 steaks. “That he was going to break them. “ My father laughed cuz he didn’t understand why. As there is no limit on the ad. The manager was rude and made my father feel embarrassed and humiliated. The worst feeling ever.

Horribly stocked grocery store. I've have had numerous trips to this location that has resulted in having to go to other big name grocery stores in order to get that basic something. If you come here anytime after 6pm good luck finding help, and if you do the answer is 99% of the time "what we have on the shelf is all we have. "
Only reason I continue to shop here is because the corporation "Stater Bros" has good sales some of the times.
I miss when this was Albertsons, they were well stocked, we'll staffed, and friendly.

I am writing this review, the wife. I shop Staters Bros once a week. Lately I have noticed shoppers bringing in dogs to the store. Mangy dirty dogs placed in carts where our food goes. Yesterday 3/15/2018 a customer had his loose dog at checkout. The dog had wandered up to the front and the boxboy tied it up. The cashiers said nothing when I complained, just smiled. The customer told me that I could also bring my dog but only if it was small and nice like his. He stated no pitbulls were allowed. I also made a complaint with the Dept of Public Health in Los Angeles.

Watch out when you buy meat there. Charged for 85/15 when bought 80/20 They blame it on new people. Happened more than once. Then rude when you call them on it.

Best Stater Bros.around. Very clean and well stocked. Employees are professional and courteous.

I often shop here early in the morning before work. I buy all of my canned goods and non-perishables. The store is always clean and organized and the cashier in the morning is friendly.

Although this is my cistern store and we shop here regularly, to sit in line behind 16 others, yes 16 whine they had one check stand open and 2 15 orbs or less lines open is inexcusable! There were plenty of workers and managers walking around and filling shelves right there, they cld have as should have opened up another line!

Love the cashiers, the fact that you have Low Sodium products for seniors as well great butchers and pastries fresh French Bread and super clean.

Always good. Excellent service in the meat department.not too packed.also enjoy their seafood department
