Wow! I’m fighting with motel clerks before I’m even checked in. Trying to check in early: room not available. Trying to check in too early. But two other parties are checking in right next to me. Then I’m told if I don’t have my parking permit I. My car window my car will be towed! I’m driving a car with a VALID disability permit. I asked if they would tow a Disabled person’s vehicle and I’m told yes if there’s No Parking Pass in the window. I’m beginning to understand why this hotel was less expensive than others in expensive Orange County. Will not stay here again! I do not recommend others to stay here either

Update: my parking pass slipped between the windshield and the dashboard. I received a notice that my car would be towed. Yet another reason not to stay

Ps: they charge $20 a day for parking even if you’re handicapped! Absurd

I stayed here for 5 nights this past week in January. I arrived very late and checked into the hotel. The room I was given was 213 and it turns out it was right above the generator. I could not sleep at all because of the loud humming noise. I asked for another room the next night and they moved me to 226… first night in this new room and the toilet failed to work. I told the front desk and they put in a ticket for maintenance. The 3rd night was ok but the toilet failed again on the 4th night forcing me to go downstairs at 2am to use the mens room. I complained to the front desk and they offered to change my room again.at this point I just wanted to get some sleep and put this bad experience behind me. I selected this hotel due to the proximity to my office so I could walk to work and didn’t need a rental car. I told the front desk when I checked in that I did not have a vehicle. When I finally checked out they tried to charge me for 5 nights parking! I won’t be staying at this Staybridge Hotel again.

The room's decor was modern and nice. We booked a king bedroom suite. At check in, it would've been nice if they provided a map of the property so I could park closer to my room. The front desk merely said and pointed that "the elevators were to the left. "

Some cons, I ended up parking on the other end of our room because the front desk's poor directions, and the 2 sets of elevators are in the middle of the property.

We also had our thermostat set between 72-76 F, but it fluctuates so much that it gets too cold or too hot. I could not get a good night's sleep either night.

They also do not provide enough blankets for the sofa bed. The sofa bed is also very basic with springs, but terrible enough that our 2 little kids couldn't stay asleep. The doors to the bedroom also do not have locks for privacy.

I also hate having to be surprised with paying for $20 per night parking. When booking, the price was not listed. If you're going to nickel and dime customers, at least be transparent about it.

Breakfast is complimentary, but show up earlier because they kept running out of eggs and bacon on the buffet during the peak and took a long time to replenish. They had pork bacon one day and turkey sausage links the next day. The turkey sausages were gross because they were dry. Maybe switch to a chicken apple sausage with a protective casing and offer bacon every day.

I was in a rush to check out around 10: 45am on 12/27/23 and the lady at the front desk was speaking with a coworker hidden behind a wall. She finally saw me standing around for a few moments and then said that she would be with me in a moment and then proceeded to discuss with her coworker. This was very rude and left a bad taste in my mouth. My hope is that employees understand that customers are key in the hospitality industry and they are key to building their brand and loyalty.

Forgot items in the hotel. It took me a week to get a confirmation only for them to say that they were unable to find the items.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was very clean & comfortable. Great breakfast and the breakfast attendants were quite friendly. Lots of parking and the neighbourhood felt very safe. We walked around the path across the street and walked to restaurants

Nice hotel but we have a few gripes. We're Diamond Elite members and love Staybridge Suites. It's the first Staybridge we've stayed at that doesn't have free laundry. The machines were nice and clean but they charged. $3 per wash plus they put a $7 hold on your card. No big deal but we stay at Staybridge Suites for all the amenities so paying for laundry seems picayunish.

Most IHG hotels put a $50 hold for incidentals on the card. Not here! Perish the thought Fearless Traveler! Here they put a $150 hold for incidentals. Just another way to gouge the customer.

At check in they told me they charge $20 per day to park which is also really cheap. This hotel is pricey to begin with and the parking lot isn't a downtown high rise parking garage in the middle of the city but an open lot with plenty of spaces. So to me it's gouging the customer. I never saw any security out there-not that it's needed-but charging to park here is cheap.

We're in a band so oftentimes we're up late doing laundry or wandering around talking on the phone or buying a candy bar or whatever. No big deal. None of us drink or party or anything. My pal and I were in the lobby around midnight the first night we were there and wandered thru the breakfast dining area to check out the gas grill) thinking we might cook burgers the next afternoon) and to just look around real quick as we'd never stayed at this place before. We're out there for 2 minutes and the front desk guy comes out and informs us we're not allowed outside in the common area after 11pm! We were simply chatting quietly for a minute. He said we weren't allowed out there or in the lobby after 11pm. No congregating on premises after 11pm. He claimed it's a city ordinance but it sounds like horse manure to me. How can a city tell an establishment how they can run their business? Regardless they're a hotel and we're paying to stay there-so not letting us stand there and chat for a sec was ridiculous not to mention lame. The gentleman was apologetic but the whole thing was weird and lame when we were just talking quietly. Again I've never seen anything like this at any IHG hotels period.

The front desk people seemed nice enough. The fitness center is clean. Public restrooms were clean. Laundry area is nice and clean and orderly. The employees all seemed pleasant also. Our room was clean and quiet. As far as the hotel itself it's fine-but be prepared to cough up dough for everything from parking to laundry. I haven't looked at my credit card receipt to see how much they charged me for a bottle of water and a Klondike bar but I'm sure it's way way overpriced. With prices what they are and inflation through the roof it would be nice for hotels to at least make you feel like you're welcome. After we got booted from the outside patiio area because it was after 11pm I kind of soured on this place. Still love IHG hotels and I'll stay here again if I have to but we have other HIX locations in Orange County we would go to before this place simply because of the 11pm curfew. If you're paying close to $300 per night for a hotel it's a bit thick to be told you can't be in certain areas.

The hotel is in a good location and the parking lot is large. The room is moderately spacious, with a sofa and a kitchen (although I don’t need it). The breakfast is average and the bagels are delicious. Some shortcomings: the parking fee of 20/day is really expensive, and the attitude of the front desk staff is quite bad.

Room was beautiful. Very large facility so be prepared to walk. Happy hour appetizers and morning breakfast were OK.

Spacious room. It has a large refrigerator and cooking facilities, making it suitable for long-term stays.
In the morning, a traditional breakfast of scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage is served.
Depending on the day of the week, light meals are also served in the evening.

The surrounding area is also safe.

It was a really nice place to stay.only one thing was the ants in our kitchen.we told housekeeping, I don't know if they did anything, like spray Raid. We stayed for 3 nights and every morning the ants would shown up.

Very nice. Our room had a full kitchen, a full size fridge, and a couch.

The sink in the kitchen even had a garbage disposal.

Beautiful lighting and near the smaller airport.

Shops, restaurants, and costco nearby.

The location of this hotel is convenient, but at check-in we were told that the rooms would be cleaned once every 3 days, but in reality, the rooms were not cleaned even after 5 days.did. When I asked the front desk about the timing of cleaning, they simply said, "I'm sorry, " and couldn't even give me any information about what time they would be able to clean, or even if they would be able to clean on that day. Although the location and hardware are not bad, I was disappointed in the response from the front desk staff.

The advertisement says pets allowed on first floor. I was on 4 and the other I’m above must have had an emotional support horse. The trotting around the room was still going on until I called to complain at 11pm about the extreme noise from above. The staff made fun about moving my room to the 6th floor. There is no sixth floor. Corporate will be getting a call to address the absolutely unacceptable disregard and disrespect of a long term IHG customer. Hampton Inn next trip.

Clean rooms. Long term stay while our home is being repaired. The room has all needed amenities included with kitchenette. Even better, we have the laundry room & gym right next to us. As we are here long term, haven’t used housekeeping services. We tend to our own cleaning. I have to give a shout out to K. C. EXTREMELY helpful during a difficult time. She has great customer service. Maintenance is great. Free breakfast & 3 nights per week, free appetizers including beer or wine if that’s what you like.

No coffee! The hotel put coffee out at 6: 00 in the morning and by 6: 45 they took the coffee away and said they are no longer putting coffee out in the morning. It won't be out until breakfast which isn't until 7: 30. This is an airport hotel. I'm sure lots of people have early flights and would like a cup of coffee in the morning. I've never stayed at a hotel that puts coffee out and takes it away from its guests. We are here for a soccer tournament. I will never choose staybridge suites again. If you have an early flight or need to leave early in the morning and are used to a cup of coffee in the front lobby, do not choose this hotel! I spoke with the front desk and they would not bring the coffee back out.

Despite having some very frustrating issues after being promised an early check-in, our stay was fantastic! The lady we checked in with was rude, but the remaining staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool is great, the room was awesome, breakfast was good. We will likely stay again!
