Steamy Piggy reviews
14Awesome service, food, and atmosphere! We were seated quickly on a Tuesday night and were so happy that the food came quickly too as we were really hungry. We enjoyed the bulgogi chow fun, the bao buns, and the soup dumplings! Highly recommend! Daniel was great
Spicy Ramen is amazing! Great customer service Will definitely recommend! Christine was very friendly and helpful!
Hands down the best wontons I’ve had in San Diego! The Shio Ramen was amazing, and the Wonton Soup had the perfect balance of flavors Our server Christine was so helpful and kind, even when my stuffy sinuses made it hard for me to hear her she was so patient and understanding. I’m so happy to have finally found the perfect place to fulfill all my soup needs!
My go to spot whenever I come to convoy, the staff are sweet and accommodating our server David was really cool. The food is also great we always get their soup dumplings and the bulgogi fries and my friend raves over the galaxy lemonade. 10/10
Our Server Kristen Was A Sweetheart! <3 The Soup Dumplings And The Bulgogi Chow mein were So Good
Super cute place. Food is delicious and came out quite quick. Kirsten our server was sweet and helpful with recommendations.
Bit of a wait but so worth it!
Delicious ramen and wontons. Second time here and will keep coming back. The lychee lemonade is delicious! Christine was great!
The Xiao Long Bao was hands down the worst I have ever had. They were overcooked, glued to the steamer basket and the inside was frankly…disgusting. Don’t waste your money. Service was sub par, they are still doing QR code menus (ugh), and the place seemed very dirty looking at the floor.
On top of that it was hard to concentrate on the food with the music wars going on. What seemed like Coldplay pandora was playing overhead but there was also music of a totally different vibe BLASTING out of the kitchen which has a service window to the seating area. The chefs were clearly playing cat and mouse with the speaker because the music would disappear for 5 min then come back at full blast for 10 min and overtake the restaurant.
Our other food items were ok- but nothing amazing. I can’t even remember what they were. I just made frozen XLB and it was 10000x better than what we got at the restaurant. Save your money.
Food is absolutely delicious. The Thai tea is perfect not too sweet. I had the piggy bao and portion was big and incredibly tasty. Definitely worth coming here!
I love this place. It’s very clean and has a very lively atmosphere. The food and service are great! The staff here are very welcoming, and nice. Daniel was an amazing server, he was super nice and very communicative.
2nd time here. We were expecting their steamed items to be the thing to get here but that is not the case. Best dishes were the chili wontons and bulgogi chow mein.the rest of the food was good, but nothing mind-blowing for the price.if i were to go again I would go to get a drink and an appetizer.
Daniel was great and was very fast with my food! Sat outside when it was cold and they had heating lamps and it very cozy. Food was amazing.
Kristen was our server. Honest and helpful making our choices. Loved the Piggy Bao bun and soup dumplings. Shrimp dumplings good too. Fun ambiance. Friendly place!
Excellent place. Cutely decorated, and not long wait times. Tastes pretty good and great customer service, especially from Daniel
