50 years of marriage and the same reoccurring problems. Several therapists including a 14 week 2 hour per session men’s group that produced zero results. I felt like none of the counselors listened to what I was saying. First session with Michael within 15 minutes he put a name to the symptoms that cleared up all the doubt and questions I’ve had for a long time. Finally I believe we are on our way to the relationship we have always wanted.

I tried Stepping Stones to Healing based on the stellar reviews of Michael Hamilton, and I'm now happy to provide my own. I've met with Michael so far only three times but he has provided me with concrete tools to help me manage the specific areas in which I'm struggling right now. I appreciate his understanding and his advice, and most especially I feel at peace knowing that he, like me, is a person of faith who prays for me and accompanies me in my walk with God. I look forward to continuing my work with Michael and highly recommend his services for anyone seeking support.

Michael is the therapist my bf and I needed this whole time. Not only is Michael a great active listener, but he is also nonjudgmental and as fair as can be. He makes therapy a place where you can be yourself and feel 100% safe. My bf and I love how he uses references that are applicable to our situations too; he empowers us to embrace the references as useful tools to improve our current relationship. To add, Michael does not rush us, nor does he press for a time limit on therapy. That is also why my bf and I appreciate the person that Michael is; he views his clients from a humane perspective and not for money. And as a minister, Michael does an amazing job in subtly intertwining his teachings when appropriate (he doesn't force any religious beliefs or values on to you). Overall, my bf and I highly recommend Michael to anyone out there who needs a therapist for the short or long term. We can honestly say that Michael's therapy sessions have helped us improve ourselves individually and as a couple. Michael helped save our relationship and we are forever grateful that God put him in our lives when we did not expect it. We will definitely continue to see Michael for as long as we need!

I have always been so cynical about getting treatment for my mental illnesses, I’ve always felt like there’s nothing anyone can say to me that could change my outlook on my life. That was until I met Michael Hamilton. He has officially set the bar, from creating a therapeutic/client alliance and caring about me on a personal level to being very understanding about me having to end our sessions so I can move on with a trauma specialist.

My time with Hamilton has extremely valuable, supportive, and constructive. It was always very difficult for me to find a therapist who was open to helping me with my extensive list of problem, and I’ve been rejected many times by other therapists. I got so much acceptance with Hamilton as my counselor that it allowed me to feel comfortable speaking up for myself and get the help I deserve. He truly is an amazing counselor, I will always treasure the time spent and would love to work with him again.

I meant Michael Hamilton in March 2023. I went through his IOP group program for 41 3 hour secessions. I learned a lifetime of information concerning alcohol and drug addiction. I also had one on one therapy with Michael during this time. The wealth of knowledge I learned about myself from his experience and expertise has helped me in my recovery.
