Aaliyah did a brilliant job, she’s very polite, responding to all of my messages and emails as soon as possible, kept me informed, everything went smoothly. No complaints on my end 5 stars!

Aaliyah is extremely helpful! She helped me a lot every time I came to her. Sometimes even though she was busy, she’s always patient and helped me solve my problems.

Personally, I do not know the leasing system in the United States, for example in a room that was "furnished" only a bed comes with nothing else, there is nothing in the kitchen, you have to buy everything yourself. They should be direct in saying "only beds, desks, couch and chair" but nothing else, because in my country furnished means something else. Also, when asked to remove a bed, since in a room I do not understand why they put 2 beds, if only 1 person will occupy it, they tell us that they will charge us about $150, to remove something that has not been requested, because it takes up space, and you can not even walk, personally if I had more time to look for another apartment I would not have rented here, the only thing in favor is that it is in front of the university, and it does not take me much time to go.

Kept my security deposit beyond the 21 day legal requirement in California. Tried to make illegal deductions from my security deposit until I emailed them evidence of the apartment in good condition. Management was super non-responsive during the lease signing and move-in process.

Aaliyah and the rest of the staff were very informational, supportive, and kind during my housing search! They were very accommodating about the prices of their beautiful units and helped to problem solve around issues with my price range.

It's not always safe due to squatters hanging in the stairway and garage. The elevator breaks down a lot too and that's scary. I was stuck on the elevator one time.

I’ve been a resident at Sterling Oxford for 9 months. I stopped by the office to get information on my lease. I needed to move out early and wasn’t sure where to start. Aaliyah was extremely helpful in explaining the lease break fees and I feel more at ease with this whole move out process. Deja and Larissa were very personable as they were kind and understanding of my situation in needing to leave early. I appreciate the staff here and hope my next apartment complex has team members that represent what Sterling stands for! If you are considering leasing here do not hesitate to share your concerns because there’s always someone in the office who cares enough to help out.

Aaliyah is very responsive on all my text messages and emails from the beginning.
Unlike many leasing agents of other apartment buildings who kinda of giving "automated" reply without addressing my specific questions, Aaliyah answers all my specific questions which are not listed in website.
Also I found her on the desk of Sterling oxford leasing office Saturday without prior appointment. I toured several houses/apartments that day and many of them either don't have office, office closed, sign of open tour but no one in office, or no one answered the phone (admit I didn't make appointment as I want to visit the nearby areas of the house first before deciding whether I want to pursue the unit).
Sterling collection has several buildings on different locations. I like sterling Oxford as it's close to the department buildings I need to access. However it doesn't have one bedroom with laundry in unit that I desire.
Anyway very appreciate her detail information to help me on apartment hunting.

Aaliyah was very helpful when I asked for information about the type of units there are and prices. She is very knowledgeable.
