Steve Wallen Swim School, El Dorado Hills CA

We are so pleased with our experience at the Steve Wallen Swim School in El Dorado Hills. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and we have been so impressed by the amount of progress our daughter has made in her first four weeks of baby & me swim lessons. Highly recommend this facility for any age group!

My oldest daughter has been going to Steve Wallen for one-year now and my youngest started recently. We have had a great experience with all the teachers we have and our girls enjoying going swimming lessons.

Steve Wallen Swim School is an amazing place to learn to swim or become a stronger swimmer. Their staff is very welcoming and friendly. Our swim instructors were very caring and patient. The whole place was very clean which is a big deal to me.

We’ve had our 3 year old set SW for 3 months now, and he’s learned so much in so little time. The staff and instructors are kind and so good with children. My child had a very difficult time on his first day (a lot of crying) but his instructor Anavi did an amazing job at making him feel safe and comfortable. Despite being afraid, Anavi got him to swim and complete the entire first session. Once I picked him up, he was so happy and excited to tell me about what he had just accomplished. This situation happened a few more times within the next few weeks, but I felt confident in taking my child and knowing that Anavi would help him feel safe and comfortable once he arrived. All other instructors were also kind when we had make ups, and we never had any issues. Definitely recommend.

Could not be happier. As a lifelong swimmer, it was a bit painful to admit that I needed help teaching my own children to swim - but Steve Wallen's team was ready and willing to take on the task. My son has been comfortable in water his whole life, but the next step of being independent in the pool was taking a bit of effort. We have had experience with 4 different instructors now and I can say that I trust each and every member of the staff to keep my son safe while also helping him to learn and have fun. If you find yourself needing an extra bump of confidence, don't forget to talk to Mr. Steve about the magic water situation he's got going on in his pools - real game changer. I have already recommended SWSS to 3 other families who are loving it as much as we do.

We have been coming to Steve Wallen Swim School since our son was about a year old. We started with "baby and me " classes to help get him comfortable in the water. He is 3 now and just loves coming to "swim class". It is one of his favorite things to do. All of the instructors have been great. We especially love Miss Alaina.

My both kids learned swimming at Steve Wallen. Instructors are nice and patient. Place is clean and have big indoor pool.

Great teachers, who really care and spend time teaching the kids to swim. They have met my daughter at her skill level, and she continues to improve.

Very happy with the Baby & Me experience in which my one year old baby has acquired confidence in the water over the course of two sessions and is now ready for summer fun with her siblings!

My son's are both special needs and the instructors have so much patience with them. This is the only activity my older son asks to continue doing and loves this place. I'm glad we found them.

Wonderful swim program! My son has Spencer and he has made my son (3 years old) more confident, comfortable and excited about swimming. The whole experience here has been positive and wonderful.

Our kiddos have a great time at Steve Wallen's Swim School. They have tons of great teachers and we love seeing the dedication they show to our children. They really have come a long way in a short period of time with their instruction.

Steve Wallen Swim School in El Dorado Hills has been a great fit for our sons’ swim lessons. The instructors have been kind and patient, and the staff is always helpful.

Steve Wallen is not just for little tykes. Our 14 year old son loves his swim lessons and his instructor Spencer. The swim test for Boy Scouts is going to be a breeze after his lessons. Thank you Spencer, you're doing an awesome job!

We used to like it here, but the newer front office staff has been really difficult to work with. They don’t try to keep you with the same instructor and always say something along the lines of… well we can always take you off the schedule. Steve is the owner and even after him giving me his word that he would follow up with me, he never called me back. I messaged and Jennifer finally called me back only to say well I understand and we can always take you off the schedule. I told her that’s fine because she didn’t even listen to what I was saying about the lack of communication.
