My experience working with Dr. Sampson and his staff was smooth and I felt very taken care of at all times. I went to Dr. Sampson with 5+ years of knee pain to find out the cause and how to approach reducing that pain. Dr. Sampson was very clear when he gave me my diagnosis, patellar tendinitis. We decided to go a bone marrow PRP injection which he did explain may need one standard PRP shot to act as a booster, which I ended up needing. Although the procedure was painful Dr. Sampson talked me through the pain and I felt very comforted by not only his methods but also his staff. I felt very welcomed and heard when I went into his office and not once was I ever confused about what their steps were in the process. At the time I was a rising junior in high school committed to be a D1 volleyball player at Duke so avoiding surgery was key for my quick healing and Dr. Sampson was able to do that for me and during my athletic career at Duke I have yet to feel the pain I felt before this procedure. I have Dr. Sampson, his work, and his staff to thank.

While Dr Sampson made me no promises for how far my healing would go, I am extremely pleased at my progress in a short time. Avoiding surgery was important for me because of an auto- immune condition, and the bone marrow injections have been fabulous. I find Dr Sampson a great communicator and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Dr. Sampson is generous with his time and information. Everyone in the office has been supportive and accommodating. I always feel well cared for at this office - and I must mention that Amy is absolutely fabulous at pulling together the schedule and details.

Dr. Sampson and the entire staff at Orthohealing Center have been nothing but wonderful! I suffered a tear to my right pectoral muscle that did not impact the tendon. The services provided by Dr. Sampson could not have gone better. The improvements in the injuries that Dr. Sampson treated has been nothing short of spectacular! Having been through surgery for a biceps tear, I can say without question that I am so grateful for Dr. Sampson's care and his approach to athletic injury treatment. If you are considering surgery due to a muscle tear, I would urge you to consider seeing Dr. Sampson first!

I had a fair amount of pain in my elbow from years of playing sports and working in the trades. The pain was mentally and physically draining, I felt very limited in what I could do. Long story short, I received a series of PRP injections in my elbow and started the physical therapy process. Today my elbow is fully functional without any pain, I can surf, box and I also play in an adult baseball league and can throw without having to worry.
