Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station reviews
17Delicious poke appetizer, plant based tacos and wonderful atmosphere! Love this location and the beer selection is always varied with options for non IPA lovers.
Love the food, beer, and outdoor patio as usual, but my party simply could not figure out the QR code based ordering system and I suspect we aren't the only ones. Luckily the staff we flagged down to help were very gracious about it. Hopefully the next time I visit (probably in a couple years) the ordering system via QR app will be a thing of the past.
Terrible customer service and unwelcoming staff at the entrance. We did not bother to reserve a spot afterwards, as there are so many places in Wan Diego which are welcoming and have amazing beer, food and atmosphere. Avoid this place, they need to learn to do much better for their customers!
Like many reviewers this one is tough for me. I love Stone. Love the beers. I have been a patron for many years. This QR ordering system sucks. You waste the first 15 minutes trying to order. It doesn't ever join tabs for me. Then 6 people at the table are on 6 tabs and food comes at all different times. I miss having a server explain the menu and offer suggestions. If this is the future, I'll just stay home. I don't think we should tip before the service (or lack there of).
Lots of great beers to choose from. I'm picky and I was able to build a flight which excites me so much! Staff is friendly and informative. Didn't have any food this time but will definitely eat there next time. Everything I saw come out looked delicious. Came from Temecula for the day and this was top on our list. Was not disappointed!
First off, I love Stone, but some changes need to be made.
I have been to this location numerous times when in town, but this was the first since Covid.
I just wanted to grab a beer and relax at a table or the bar. I was not able to do this.
They now only reserve ALL tables for ordering food/drinks.
I couldn’t sit at the bar either.
I was shown a section out the back of the patio with 3 tables that looked like they just threw up in an open section of the property.
So if you want to sit at a table you MUST order food. I’m not a fan of this new structure.
Just segment off some tables for food and the others for whatever.
I did not stay and left. This was on a Thursday mid day.
Beer and food was fair. Better to eat at the other small shops, but we were a big group and their location and seating is very nice.
Everything was delicious and we had excellent service. Tried some delicious beers. Great lighting at night outside
Don’t get me wrong, the beers and food were FIVE stars. I didn’t mind having to download the menu as many places are doing this now, but having to order and pay up front through the website…. Well, part of the dining experience is having a waiter/waitress share their expertise on what to order. I understand trying to be safe but I did not see how taking away waiters makes everyone safer. Other restaurants in San Diego had waitstaff…. Why not Stone? I hope they change their policy soon.
Huge place, awesome outdoors, and amazing service. Can't go wrong with any beer. Also, servers were super attentive.
Parking might be tough, but worth it!
This such a lovely place to sit outside with beautiful coy ponds, good food and drink great beer. Get the pretzel, everyone is always surprised how good it is.
Amazing beer with an amazing ambiance
This whole liberty station is a place where every local and tourist needs to come and just walk around and experience all that it has to offer and Stone should be first.
It’s amazing ambiance here with the darker tones throughout the interior and while being balanced with the lush gardens outsides. The beer here is amazing and have many beers you simply can’t get anywhere else. My favorites include the POG, the Tea, and obviously the buenaveza, these beers are brewed with top notch ingredients are truly brewed to perfection. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and will give the best recommendations. For anyone who enjoys and nice cold pint Stone is the place to be, even over another local legend Ballast point.
Amazing food and drinks! We had such a fun time. Taylor and the rest of the staff were super welcoming and helpful. We had a few technical difficulties when ordering but it was well worth it. Can't wait to go back!:)
Jaw dropping amazing. Been buying this beer in Denver for years and now I see the birth place. Love it!
This place is amazing and is really special to me and my husband. We loved coming here while we were dating and when we got married almost 4 years ago we did it under the big tree out back and had our reception in the large banquet hall. So we might be biased but we love it here and we came for a date night just us two the other evening which are rare because we have a baby now and we had one of the best dates we've had in a minute. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind. The food and drinks arrived quickly and tasted amazing. The environment was fun and relaxed, the garden is always really beautiful. Just a great night overall. We will of course be back many more times.
The onion rings! The Mac n cheese!
The brewskies! The atmosphere!
Definitely a must visit place If you're in San Diego!
Food and drink was good but with over half of the place empty we were approached rudely by 2 employees 2 separate times and scolded for taking chairs from the table next to us… definitely uncalled for with HALF the place empty
