Stone Canyon Apartments

The staff at Stone Canyon Apartments are truly helpful and provide outstanding customer service. Frances and Beth were friendly and supportive during the approval process. The apartment, grounds and amenities are immaculate, and I look forward to making this my home. Darlene~

Crystian Estrada helped us with our maintenance needs very promptly and kindly. I have even heard others in the apartment say he is always so helpful and friendly. If you ever need anything fixed he makes sure to have it done as soon as possible. He really does such a great job. This apartment complex has nice people working with you to make sure your experience is a good one.:)

My daughter and her friend recently moved in, as they were unable to secure campus apartments at UCR. Overall, the management staff has been professional. Starting with Frances, Beth to Crystian, each are kind. The complex also seems safe and well kept. The distance to the trash bin is very convenient. The amenities space is small but well kept with sauna, study, work out and game room, and even a good vending machine for times you don't want to go out for snacks like chips, beef links, cup a noodles, etc.

A tip, best way to communicate is via email. It is unlikely you will get through on the phone. I've never connected. A couple of times, it took a bit to hear a response even by email. They did respond a couple of days later and apologized, at which time we were told that Frances had been out sick.

On the day we came to pick up keys, Frances was out sick again, so we waited for a temp who ended up at a partner building up the street. This could've ended badly, as we were waiting and had two trucks full of furniture on its way.

Here is what makes Stone Canyon exceptional. Crystian.

He noticed us, inquired, then communicated with the temp, who was lost and directed her to the right place. He also let us into the apartment, explained the maintenance he was doing on it, let us bring in our UPS packages, let us into the reception area to wait inside comfortably. This wasn't a one off, exceptional go out of the way response from him.

The other day, Crystian with his temporary helper, came by in response to some online service requests. (I put so many in that my daughter was mortified that the management would hate us) He managed to: change out a light switch, hammer in exposed nails on new carpet, take apart the ice maker/water dispenser door to re-attach a part that came loose, replace a cracked ice tray, change out a tub spout, and change out three outside lights that were no longer working. He did this all in one go and with efficiency and kindness.

Crystian is an asset to any organization. Stone Canyon is truly blessed to have him. I hope they are treating him well and that he remains for a long time to care for the residence needs here.

My car didn’t start right away caused by the dead battery. Frances is extremely kind and helpful to call the neighbors if they can move their cars temporarily and let my friend did a jump-start for my car. Thanks for everyone’s help today and Stone Canyon Apartment is definitely a great and friendly place to live!

A shout-out to the maintenance team of Stone Canyon: Christian & Jesus are great!
The HVAC in my apt stopped working in the hottest day of the most recent heat wave. Christian & Jesus came to my apt 15 mins after they got my maintenance request. Quickly identified and fixed the HVAC issue. From my request to the final solution of the issue, the entire process costed less than a hour.
Thank you for helping me survive the excessive heat wave!

The woman at the leasing office, Frances, is the best! She gave me a tour around the apartments and answered all of my questions. She really made my first experience with searching for apartments so nice and pleasant! She is very helpful and for anyone looking to move to Stone Canyon, you are in very good hands with her.

Honest review: BE CAREFUL the apartment manager will try to evict you over a water bill of less than $40. No joke. Rent can be paid on time but they will try to evict so they can increase rent to an exorbitant amount. They also seem to be selective in who they harass over their patio decorations and content. Outside of management being - TERRIBLE - the apartment space is nice - quiet and family friendly. The units are spacious and feel more like a townhome which is a positive. The down sides are as mentioned earlier, unlawful eviction practices, selective harassment by management. Apartments are only as good as their maintenance department - our maintenanc e team is the reason I stay. If you can find a place where management is genuinely kind rent somewhere else.

I moved back to Stone Canyon, just because of the service, community, and safety. The seclusion is hard to beat and being able to have pets is also a plus. The maintence service has aways been speedy, whether it be past workers like Robert or Crystian who is the new manager now. Crystian has already been on top of it since our move in to get everything sorted out on the frontend so we don’t have to worry and I could not be more grateful.

Frances was very accommodating to my family and I who showed up unexpectedly on a Saturday afternoon. She gave us a detailed tour of the premises which was extremely clean and gorgeous. The apartments are spacious with a nice layout. Great community and customer service.

Stone Canyon is an awesome community the apartment complex is always kept very nice and clean. We love all of the amenities here and enjoy the daily walks seeing the sunsets! The management team and their staff are all so very caring professional people to work with. Thank you Elizabeth, Frances, Cristian and Jesus for your help in making our move-in experience an amazing one! My family is so happy to be a part of this wonderful community.

The professionalism and response of the maintenance crew always astounds me. My AC recently broke, and Jesus & Crystian responded SAME DAY and proceeded get my AC fixed. I appreciated the fact that Crystian followed up after the repair and asked if everything was good.

Thanks Stone Canyon, I've been at apartments where management and maintenance haven't been nearly as good here. It really makes a difference in terms of quality of living w/ such a responsive team such as the one here. Thanks again!

I have not lived here yet but my experience with the staff specifically Frances was amazing. She was so welcoming and nice, explained everything nicely and patiently. Thank you for the beautiful tour. I hope to live here soon.

After arriving on location and speaking to Frances about taking a tour, she walked me to w beautiful 2 bed 2 bath room. Unfortunately, she didn't have a 1 bed 1 bath but was able to explain the differences in a clear manner. I really enjoyed the place and loved how it looked. Hope to move in!

Had an amazing conversation and tour with Elizabeth! Very professional, Knowledgeable, and Warm. The grounds and units looked amazing! I can't wait for the new pool to be open!

My fiancé and I went to go check out this community. We were greeted by Frances. She was absolutely amazing. Very professional and had the warmest personality. She was definitely a pleasure to work with. We fell in love with the community and unit instantly. Can’t wait until we move in!

These apartments are wonderful! The staff has always treated me well and especially Francis. She was my leasing agent and found me a love home, and has always been there if I ever had questions. Highly recommend working with Francis if you are in search of a new place to live!
