We were treated extremely well there. All the services and people are great and straight up front. The view from there is amazing. The only thing is the pool closing way too early. People go out and do stuff and enjoy the entire city and come back it would love to go hop in the Jacuzzi or hop in the pool at 9: 00 to 11: 00. Pool closing at 8: 00 or 9: 00 and feeds the whole purpose of relaxing at night time for your vacation. But besides that everything was great

As many other reviewers mentioned, the timeshare presentation was aggressive. A two hour presentation turned into a 3 hour presentation where our sales staff was extremely aggressive. Even after exposing our reasons for not purchasing a timeshare, they refused to take No for an answer. The frustrating thing is that they continuously stated it would not be aggressive, and unfortunately it ended up being exactly that. It was like pulling nails to see any pricing info until the very end. It was honestly not a pleasant experience.

Good luck getting service but who needs it? You're on vacation! The Welk has always been a delight for us.

Best time here! Everywhere you look looks like a postcard. It's really home away from home. Huge rooms.

I listed to a timeshare for Wilke's Resort the employee that took us around and after we heard about the price even after you paid off the timeshare you still have to pay it. The girl Keeli turned around and she was really not nice

Low quality timeshare. Bad customer service and fake plants. No greetings from staff. We were told there would be food and snacks. Patatochips and cookies.

When I was there with my parents for the 2 hour walk through for some free tickets. The places is nice big VERY big and was like there on little city. On con I don't like is how they force you to buy there property right there and they don't take no for a answer

Have beautiful amenities rooms pool play ground and golf courses perfect for a family stay

One of the top 2 pools on the property! A little out of the way for most, but epic once your at the top of the resort with all the views + da pool!

It is a welk resort members and guests recreation place. It is nice and filled with friendly staffs.

Typical time share location. Oddly enough all of their sales people seem to be from around the same pace as their prospective customers. It's kind of weird.

This place is amazing but lack in customer satisfaction made request with months in advance and they were not fulfilled was very disappointed being my daughters 2nd year birthday party.

This is a tale of two worlds. There is the "not an owner world" and the "owner world" and the difference became very apparent quickly. We went in expecting a sales pitch and we aren't easily charmed by fast talking sales people so the pitch only lasted 3 hours (they tell you two and at two hours, I let them know we were on my time now).

The complimentry accommodations were no nicer than a hotel but there were some glaring issues and calls to the front desk went unanswered. The bed was rock hard, our sheets had a reddish brown smear stain that could have been a lot of things but was really disgusting - call unanswered at the front desk and we changed our own sheets. While the grounds are beautiful, the noise from kids and moving furniture above and beside us was very disappointing. At 10p I shouldn't have kids playing outside my window. - call unanswered.

Our experience in the sales center was frustrating because they follow a very strict formula to qualify you and try to sell the fun value of their properties. That is part of why it takes so damn long. They try very hard to show the value of their points system and the transferability of points but it is like pulling hens teeth to get a price out of them. Once you get the low, low, today only, act now price and, importantly the annual maintenance fee price (that she had to get from her sales manager?) You can finally evaluate affordability - but don't worry about that, they will help you figure that out.

All that aside, because it was exactly what we expected, when they toured us through the model Villa we were stunned at the floor plan, the lay out, the flexibility and luxury - why did I spend last night in that other place? Why didn't you put your best foot forward and let us stay in the real thing - not servants quarters by comparison. Her response was that the owners don't like to have guests stay in owner Villas because, well, we unwashed might mess it up.

I'm sure this is great for some folks. You need to be well prepared and not swayed by the push to buy now and become part of the Welk family. It's is your money for a very, very long time. I never did get a straight answer about how I could get out of the deal of I ever needed too but they did tell me all about the many Welk happy family members.

Oh, by the way, at the end, they gave us a form that said we could come back and go through this all again after 6 months and get the wazoo deal of the day afterall. You know, one last and final chance.

We passed. Let the buyer be aware.

The incentives to attend a presentation sounded great but proved to be unusable in a busy life.

Welk resort Escondido is one of our top destination that we stay! They have total of 8 pools, 2 kids pool with a slide! A lot of different activities for kids and for adults!
