Stovepipe Wells General Store reviews
16 You must stop in. You will love this place!
Prices are a little high but not so bad.
It’s the atmosphere and the workers here very great and very friendly must stop in!
A fun giftshop in the middle of the worst place in the world.
Big shoutout to the hundreds of people living in that terrible place so tourists like us can get a drink and some cool magnets.
Cool store, friendly folks. Needs more of the stuff you forget to take on adventures. Metal nail tent pegs would be a great start. Plastic just doesn't seem effective on caliche.
Tourist souvenirs, prepacked sandwiches and other snacks as well as fresh fruit. It looks like usually they have ice cream and sodas but the ice cream machine was broken. They have gas, but it's pretty pricey, get filled up before coming out to Death Valley or plan to get gas on the Nevada side in Beatty.
The General Store had a better selection of souvenirs than the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. They had a lot of refreshments as well.
Cheaper than the other store in the valley, has had, food and the peach frozen drink is good. Lots of souvenirs
They have water. By God's great and gracious mercy. They have water. I wanted to cry. I learned. I sipped. I overcame. What was left of me from getting lost hiking, I never thought I'd see or taste water ever again. I was a dried up 117°F moron. Then this beautiful mirage of a store happened. I'm still not sure if I hallucinated this place was really here. But I am alive today because of it. 5 stars? Try 10!
Arrived at Stovepipe Wells late in the evening and was not sure where to go for the campground. Came inside here and the nice girl helped me pretty well.
Later on came back here to buy more water and some small snacks. They have quite a big offer!
Lots of good souvenirs here as well!
Took gas in the morning here, it was cheaper than the gas stations in the neighborhood.
If you are desperate for fuel. Like cant drive 20 more miles to Beatty Nevada then i guess this place could be a life saver. Hopefully if you are venturing through a desert you have thought to be well prepared. They truly take advantage of peoples ignorance and charge crazy prices for gas, and water.
Stopped for an ice cream on the way through Death Valley. Good selection of tourist items to buy. Had to leave the car running it was so hot!
Quaint store in the middle of Death Valley National Park. Good place to stock up or just to grab a cold soda. Also the only place we could get cell service while staying in the park, so we used it as a place to check maps, or bank accounts, or what have you. Neat little store that is worth a stop!
Super sweet store. Pased by on our road trip.
So much regret that I didn't buy the t-shirt that I intended to.: - (
An oasis on the desert. It's not far up the road from the dunes and believe me if you have been out on those dunes after noon this place has the cold drinks your going to want. One of the few places like this in the park.
ロサンゼルス側からDeath Valleyに来るとまずここに到着します。ここには、食事、冷やすための氷、お土産が売っています。値段は高くありません。良心的なお店です。
If you come to Death Valley from Los Angeles, you'll get here first. Food, ice cream and souvenirs are available here. The price is not high. It's a conscientious store.
Get pit stop. Great visitor center and souvenir shop. This will be the first place to stop once you get to the park. Plus it has the ranger station and entrance pay booth.
A gift store with a lot of t-shirts and Death Valley related stuff. Also cold drinks and ice cream. Great oldschool vibe and nice staff. Worth a visit!
