Delicious food and wonderful staff! We will always dine at Submarine Crab every-time we visit SanDiego!

This was absolutely hands down the best seafood I’ve ever had and I’ve been to a lot of states that claim they have the best. We did the torpedo sauce with combo #2 with muscles. The oysters were amazingly fresh and omg it was amazing. We had an amazing server who was so kind and helpful. Thanks Anh. We will definitely comeback again one day soon.

Submarine Crab deserves high praise for their dangerously delicious menu options.

I’ve been here a number of times with a variety of different friend groups, and let’s just say - the consensus is always the same: Submarine Crab is awesome and one of the stronger seafood boils in the area. The biggest con? The expensive price tag.

Overall, add Submarine Crab to your list, if you’re craving seafood and/or a good Cajun boil in the Convoy area. The place is always clean and the staff is always super helpful! I’m definitely a fan.

Don’t know what to order? I always get a pound of shrimp, medium with the Torpedo sauce, in addition to an appetizer and/or order of garlic noodles. The fried rice is also solid too.

Quite expensive, but totally worth it. The interior of the restaurant is very welcoming. Food is delicious! I got their seafood garlic noodles and I would absolutely come back just for that. Good portions as well.

Probably one of the best places to go for a seafood boil. Perfect spice level, and great value compared to many other local places. A hidden gem in San Diego for sure. I especially enjoy their shrimp combo with the torpedo sauce mix, as well as their Cajun fries.

The shrimp was not good, the seafood overall did not taste fresh. Our orders were all in the same bag so we had to separate ourselves.

Crab Rangoon amazing. Combo 5 boil bag amazing. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful. Boil bag seafood ain't cheap but this meal was worth every penny. The combo 5 and the app was a little light for 4 adults BUT we all enjoyed every bite. Next time I'd add extra sausage and corn. Didn't get a pic of the boil bag but did for the Rangoon

This place has the best bang for your buck in my opinion. Each of the boils always comes with the fixins, so you're not being price gouged. The flavors and seafood are always bomb! My wife doesn't eat seafood, but they offer a wide variety of menu items that are also super delicious. We love coming here! The service is usually pretty good and they're always trying hard to keep everyone happy.

It's my fav place to go for Cajun food for taste & quality. Remember to check out their appetizers as well. Coconut snail (oc len xao dua) is best there. They keep up with their food quality & fast service

Very good place. My mother in law loves seafood boils and she said it was one of the best she's ever had. Everyone's food was delicious and we loved the service. Very polite staff. Always asked if we needed anything else and suggested meals we could get for our kids since they didn't have a kids menu. Overall a really really delicious dinner and a wonderful experience

Service was amazing. More than what you normally get in a regular establishment. And he handled the whole restaurant! When you are the host, and the only server - wow.

We got the fresh crawfish, king crab, sides, egg rolls, shrimp etc. They give you sauce on the side but I would suggest requesting it put in the bag. It really makes a huge difference because the seafood was not soaked enough for us.

I liked the variety on the menu and look forward to coming back.

Went with my Husband and kids and because we are a party of 6 they charged me a extra $38.00 one of my kids didn’t even eat the manager was like there’s a sign. It was the tiniest sign that you would pass by. I pay a lot of money as it is to eat there and on top of that more. It’s my family husband and kids. Terrible management. Terrible sign I’m not going back I don’t care how good the food is not worth the argument and poor management.

Had their 2- 1lb crawfish boil and we from Houston where we eat and have crawfish boils almost every weekend. And this was horrible. It was a sickly sweet thick sauce (I think there's cornstarch in the boil), two thinly sliced sausages, and one 2" corn on the cob. Such a waste of good potential and for $45. Never again.

Best snow crabs and crawfish and flavors I have ever had! The crawfish was the biggest u ever seen in my life, the snow crabs were my favorite and the Cajun spice was the best!

I like their sauce so I come but my order is always messed up and the boiled Eggs have been runny the last 2 times I went and they constantly try to rush me out with runny boiled eggs.

One of the best crab boils I've had. The craziest part is that there is a crab shortage. The flavors were amazing and the sides, oh the sides, are so delicious. My guilty basic pleasure is garlic bread and theirs is in my top 3. The best part of eating here is the service. I felt guilty asking for any extras due to being a small restaurant, but she knew ahead our needs and never had to even ask. This was our first time here and could not get over the outstanding service/food. We couldn't stop giving thanks even though we figured that this place must be well known. But we didn't get any snobby response. This place is almost 3 hours from home but I will try to become a regular!

Some of the best crab I have ever had. The sauce in the combo was amazing. Derek and Philip were awesome hosts. I cannot speak highly enough about the food and service. A must try!

ABSOLUTELY A ROCKSTAR ESTABLISHMENT. I leave on the cusp of a coma everyone. Food is that good. I do wish the drink menu was a bit more expansive.
