Subpar Miniature Golf reviews
17First time was nice. Had to try the Glowing experience for the 1st experience. It was not a glow in the dark. The Golf ball is the light! The course was sturdy and spacious compared to other indoor mini golf courses.
It’s hard enough being a high school student in SF without a local business telling you that you aren’t welcome there.
Head to Urban Putt or Stagecoach Greens if you want to support a real San Francisco establishment.
Each hole was quite fun to play. The different familiar landmarks of San Francisco made it a really fun tourist activity. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco for the first time.
Such a fun and unique place, both for tourists and locals! The whole place has been clearly carefully thought out. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Large parties should make a reservation beforehand.
It's clear the arcade owners don't care about maintaining their cabinets. The dance dance revolution super nova cabinet is in abysmal shape, the pads do not register properly. Disappointing since this is one of the few places to play DDR in SF.
Fun course with monuments from all around San Francisco. They sell drinks and food and have little stands all round the course to hold them whole you golf. My team had a great time!
Such a fun experience in SF. Fun mini golf course with good turf and fun holes. They also have a bar/Boba tea stand in there so you can get drinks before and during your round
Subpar has 18 holes, each with an iconic San Francisco landmark. As far as mini golf goes, it's a small space. But considering it is Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco, there isn't a lot of space to begin with, and they were able to create 18 holes of unique structures and challenges.
Street parking can be challenging, especially on weekends. The easiest parking is the paid garage parking lot. If you plan to go on a weekend or holiday, I recommend booking in advance. They have food and drinks for sale, including boba tea. They also have a decent arcade downstairs after you're done golfing.
I recommend any family who wants to have some fun playing miniature golf I recommend this place
Went with group of eight been there a few times.always fun had by all.they serve food and drinks. Tried chicken fingers and onion rings and iced milk coffee. All was tasty and large servings. Played 18 holes (I always win but others are improving) we all had great time.
You know, we just got a weird vibe here. Almost like they didn’t want our group to be there. We were the only people in the place, but they wouldn’t let us sit outside on their patio, because that is only for parties? They would have made a lot of money from our group if they had just let us stay and enjoy ourselves, but we were more or less chased away.
The golf course inside is fine. The prices are Bay Area ridiculous, so nothing exceptional there. Just don’t be surprised if you get a less-than-warm welcome.
Best mini golf in Cali. Course is fun, kids under 4 are free (might be 5). Drinks available. And it wasn't busy when we went.
The place is fine, what I don't like is that it's not that big and you run the risk of being hit with a ball because there are people who hit us very hard and fly away.
Definitely an amazing mini golf course. It's clean and spread out. Fun for adults too
We had a great time today celebrating my daughter's 5th birthday at the Mini-golf today
I originally gave this a one-star review because I play the dance games there (the Stepmaniax, mainly) and they weren't taking care of it to the degree that it became unplayable. I complained three times to the people there and sent messages to management and nothing happened. A month later (over two months since I started complaining and probably three since things started getting wonky) they have finally fixed it. So they take awhile to fix things but they do get fixed. How you take that is up to you.
Came here on a cold, rainy February night looking for something to do because everything else was closed. The course designs aren't the most exciting/challenging, but we still had lots of fun. We really appreciated the little thoughtful details, such as clipboards, drink stands, and putter holders. And they have FREE LOCKERS! The miniature landmarks are adorable and were a fun way to "see" places we didn't get a chance to visit before our trip was over.
