Subway, Chula Vista CA

Not my favorite Subway location but conveniently located. That said, I will say the subs are consistently good, wish the staff was. They always run out of meatballs ️ One time I waited thru 3 customers (one guy ordered 4 different sandwiches which took a long time) only to find out they has no meatball sandwiches and I needed 3. They should have a sign notifying customers they're out of something before you wait and get mad. Customers can then decide to buy something else or not. I was so mad I just left. Now, when I walk in, I just ask right away. I still go there but, Mr. Owner, can you please fix this?

This location is near my house, the service was excellent, the server was attentive, she listened and got my order correct, the sandwiches were really good and filling, especially the foot long "The Boss", great service and great food.

My favorite sandwich it's always at the correct temperature and the flavor it's delicious

So Im just wondering why I was just told no when I arrived at 840pm and the place closes at 9pm…literally looked at me and just said no…is this the twilight zone or what?

Went today and got 3 sandwiches. The cheese was in like small pieces and when I told her I didn't want those to get more, she kind of hesitated but did. She then didn't want to separate the cheese and finally did and making small pieces with them. She hardly put any meat in all 3 sandwiches. I don't know whats up with this girl but she needs to get with it or be cleaning the store instead. And they didn't have any other breads there.

One day they are out of steak, another day no spinach. 3 month and more with no salad lids and sometimes no bowls, crootuns, black pepper and the list go on. Items are out of stock most of the times. Less staffing, one worker most of the times and stressed. Add to that the store is outdated, rarely cleaned and the bread doesn't taste fresh. Managers of that store should be ashamed. This store does not represent Subway.

I rarely go to this location. My grand baby had swim lessons & wanted subway afterwards. We went 3 times during the 2 wks of swim lessons. The reason wasn't because of the awesome sandwiches, cause I can't deny that I love their sandwiches. We went because of the service. A young lady was working and I had never seen her b4, & silly me i didnt get her name, she was sweet, funny and engaging. A lot of Customer Service is missing that now a days.

I ordered a tuna melt. With the italian herb and cheese bread beacause they didn’t have any other bread left. At first I saw her toasting it, in my mind I was thinking maybe she’s going to press it at the end after she put all the veggies and sauces, nopeee when she was wrapping it I ask her “you’re not pressing it”? And she goes no because I toasted it already and I can’t do it with this bread. Whatttt? Just tell me you don’t want to clean the presser. Smh! Lazy! Never going back there and she keep telling a bunch of excuses I wasn’t even listening anymore. You lucky I wasn’t a secret shopper! Big NO! Look at these pictures. It doesn’t even look like a tuna melt at all.

Very sad we arrive before 11am to get breakfast subway and Coffe. They told us they were out I check the time and they don’t care I told them is weird every other subway has it till 11 am not before. Very sad because this subway is by my business. Any ways just down 20.70 for them not to Serve BF THERE SING SAID SERVE TILL 11. Sad

Business was clean and the gentleman behind the counter. He even went to see if there might be some Ranch Doritos in the back. I had asked him if there were any. Its the only time I eat them. My Subway Club was delicious.

Every few years I give a Subway facility a chance to win me back. I mean the sandwiches can be healthier than some of the other choices out there. But it usually comes down to customer service for me. Several have failed on this count. This wasn't the entire case here. In fact, the customer service wasn't horrible at this location. It wasn't great, but it would have been acceptable if not for the things out of the employees control. The soda machine was out of order. The guacamole was disgusting. And the place was out of almost everything else we asked for.
If Subway is still around in a few years perhaps I'll give it another shot.
