Subway, San Diego CA

Had lunch with a friend and she had a great conversation great environment and clean store.

The employee that worked during the time I ordered my friend and I a sandwich was not too inviting or nice as usual. Last week she messed up my online order with a nasty attitude when I picked up my order and this week she got my order right with a nasty attitude. It was the Subway on 4th Avenue in Hillcrest.

It's a really good place but only reason I give it 3 is cause they don't have vegetarian options.

The sandwiches here are good and the employees are fast and friendly, but in the last 2 times I've been here they have been out of steak.

Wow.shocked.after seeing their new celebs ads imagine going in to pick up a sub that was 1/2 the size than advertised. No more subway for us.great disappointment.

All I'm gonna say is that I could happily eat their soup everyday!
I just wish they had a large instead of that one dam size but either way, you can't beat the price!

I’m not sure of the persons (male) name working tonight but I asked for a chicken teriyaki sandwich & they were out of chicken. He called his manager & im not sure what the problem was but he became semi aggressive and I had to leave the store. Very strange! I will not be coming back to this subway.

The tomatoes were old that day. The skin was wrinkly instead of firm. The bread seemed stale, not as soft as it usually is at other Subways. There was no tea made either. For lunch hour, I would have thought to be able to expect better.

My experience there was a very good one. It was clean. The employee was kind and professional.
Made our? Exactly to order and they were very good! I actually was blessed enough to get a parking spot. This is most definitely a walk up restaurant.

Subway is excellent for a fresh, healthy sandwich. Whether it be roast beef, chicken, ham, or vegetables with their famous egg whites. Delicious is the word for Subway.

We were there around 9: 00pm and there working the counter trying to fill online orders and wait on counter.
It took a while to get our subs made and check out.
The guy that was working was still pleasant even having to keep up with the order bumbardment.

Thank you so much to the nice Young Man who did a a great job in preparing our sandwiches. He was upbeat and made my day. I don't know his name but He is sweet. Thank you & God Bless you All

Subway is the restaurant without a kitchen. The employees have staked out a corner of this place and have stocked it with a bunch of vegetables, a few cheeses and a small number of sandwich "meats" that have been prepared for sale years ago in some distant factory run by dentists. I've heard that the owners are mostly dentists.

There's a long line of small tables in the line of traffic to the employees' corner. Everyone prefers to sit over on the other side of the room at the few tables there.

This has got to be a mind-numbing place to work. Some workers can take it. Others tend towards meanness but don't throw stuff like the ham from the black forest.

Always fresh. And, you can special order anything. I do and there's never a fuss. No bathroom, though.

Connor made our sandwiches and he was super nice, polite and informative. The food was delicious and the service was great. We will be back.

Not very outgoing employees or enthusiastic. Not very upbeat. No one was inside the restaurant but myself eating.

Miguel, you provide the most excellent customer service whenever I make a stop at this Hillcrest location! I've seen you twice now! Thank you for the scrumptious sandwich, too!? I'll definitely keep coming back.

The service was excellent and fast. The subs were very good, as this was my first time trying the melts. Highly recommend
