SugarMynt Gallery reviews
14Absolutely loved our trip to SugarMynt! We spent the week in Pasadena for a couple festivals and decided to try to find something on our way back from hiking around the abandoned LA zoo. We wanted to find something "haunted" and discovered this horror museum located directly next to the original Michael Myers house. We loved it. There's some great art pieces, many that are for sale from the artists. (I'm fighting the urge to pick up a piece that I absolutely loved.) They have multiple themed rooms and some great original scripts, props, and behind the scenes photos from various iconic spooky films. The owner was a lot of fun and I could've spent all day talking with her and her father who was there at the time. Great people and a great spot! They also provide a postcard with walking directions so you can walk around Pasadena and see all the iconic filming locations from Halloween including the Strode house, the hardware store (now a restaurant) and more. Very glad we decided to stop by and check it out! I have a friend who's a big horror buff so next time she's in California for a show and we're up near LA, I'll be taking her here too. If you're a fan of the spooky, Halloween, and great art, I highly recommend checking it out. It's also half a block off a quaint main street that has a ton of cool shops and we ended up enjoying the whole afternoon there.
LOVE coming here. I love that is place is always switching up themes of horror and spooky things throughout the year so it can feel like Halloween all year round. There are also weekend backyard movie nights which are so fun and they have events happening all the time with artist vendors and special guest events. This place is not only for Halloween and autumn but all year round! Also the owner is so friendly and cool. Definitely worth checking out this place and coming back for different events.
We got there near the end of the day on Sunday. It's six rooms of interesting displays for pictures but I felt the staff who serve the area are great. The exhibits were neat but I pay a premium for great service. Charlie the great made sure we had a great experience and even helped us with pictures throughout the exhibit. Truly made the experience a great one.
The owner is the sweetest and most friendliest person ever! We loved her doggy Sophia as well. She knows all about the halloween history, Great gallery, it's small but absolutely great for horror fans, would definitely visit again
A must visit for horror fans in the area! Situated next to the original Michael Meyers house, this converted gallery offers curated spooky year round. It holds on the small house charm of Pasadena and presents a unique viewing experience.
Great place to visit. Halloween time it is rocking. Must visit. Also great is that there are film locations of the Original Halloween all around the surrounding area. "TOTALLY"AWESOME
What a great experience! We came for a Valentine's pop up and thoroughly enjoyed all of the art offerings.
I adore this place. Sara Rose and Magdalena are so fun, friendly, and create a unique, spooky atmosphere that's a joy to immerse yourself in. The changing local artwork is fantastic, and the special events they hold are a blast.
We had a blast took my little ones to watch Halloween and of course checkout the Michael Myers house next door they loved it.good times for sure just wished there would of been more things open in the area after the movie
First off I was very disappointed, not with anything here. More disappointed that I didn't find out about this place sooner! I went to the Dexter exhibit and I really enjoyed it. I even bought an incredible piece of art. I went back to pick it up and was able to walk around while I waited.
The exhibits are awesome without a doubt yet that's not the only thing to love about this place. The Lady that runs this place is incredibly warm, welcoming and very much a nerd in the horror culture. I will definitely keep going back and I will keep looking for that next piece to add to my collection. Thank you ladies for a great time all your articles and achievements are well deserved!
Best place I've been to in a long time. Perfect for a horror fan. Recommend a thousand percent!
This place is AMAZING for any horror fan! The ladies there were so sweet. Definitely support this place & will be checking out again when I’m in the area!
It wasn't what we expected, very small and very crowded. The exhibits were nice. Don't think we will be returning tho. Drove 45 mins to get there and a bit of a let down just to finish within 30 mins. Only real perk was that is was at Michael Myers home.
My group and I went in May 2021 and the Dexter and Halloween exhibits were amazing. The staff was so helpful and passionate about what they do. They were super friendly. Photo ops perfect for IG or Snap and of course horror fans! I took a 100 photos and videos. Can't wait to visit again soon. Excited for the Trick r Treat exhibit!
