I really wanted to love this place. They have such a vast selection of plants and gardening supplies. But none of it matters much after you get home and realize the tree you've purchased is full of pests. We found leafminers and aphids in our clementine tree after unloading it from our vehicle. We went to lowes the next day to find that their clementine trees were in much better condition, and at almost half the price: (: (: (. Lowe's wins for us. We, sadly, won't be back.

Super professional service that goes the extra mile. I was bumbling around figuring out how to buy a Christmas tree for the first time, but Yuri gave great advice, trimmed the extra branches so the tree stand would fit, installed the tree stand, and tied up the tree on top of my car for me. Thank you!

This nursery is lovely but very disappointing for a regular gardening hobbyist. I wish we had other nurseries in the area. I will return if I need to or for a bit of inspiration, but not for my regular plant needs or questions.

Location/Atmosphere
The location is fairly easy to get to and parking spaces are usually available. The plants are well organized by species, type, etc. The shortest (smallest plants at the front (middle) and the largest plants in the back. The place itself is lovely and well decorated, very inspiring for your gardening needs. There were a lot of cute birds and butterflies last time that I was there. Part of it feels like a little Japanese garden and a lovely place to sit and enjoy.

Plants/Prices
I know that nurseries sell plants at a lovely buck, but the prices here were pretty outrageous. Not only were the plants much more expensive than other places but the sizes of the plants themselves were much smaller as well. I saw three stalks of bamboo going for $120 bucks! That's ridiculous, since when are three stalks of bamboo that much money? Being a fast growing and rather invasive species, you would think that it would at least come with a dozen stalks. Anyhow, I'm not getting bamboo plant, I am just using the example to show how overpriced the nursery is. Now, don't get me wrong (it's not just the prices) it's the fact that the plants were a lot smaller than they would be in other places for their asking price. Oh, and if you are thinking about purchasing pots do not do it from here. You can go anywhere (literally anywhere) and get the pots at half the asking price if not less.

Service
Was very disappointed with the service (staff here) or lack of. The guy watering the plant was very cold. I was in the aisle that he was about to water and I felt him stomping towards where I was at. I said "Oops sorry pardon me, I will get out of your way" and he nearly scuffed at me. I was very surprised by this behavior or lack of human response on his behalf. You would think a person working at a nursery would be more centered to Earth, I guess not? The staff at the front are pretty careless about the people who are there. They are not very good at greeting, offering to answering questions, or making themselves available. They just are there, nothing good but nothing bad. The problem is feeling cold-shouldered when trying to find out more information about a specific pot or plant.

My experience here wasn't great and it wasn't terrible. However, I was shocked at the astronomical prices and the dismissive cold-shoulder I received while there. It's very sad that they are closing the nursery in Mountain View, the prices were the same there but you got a better deal for your buck. Oh, and the staff were much more friendly, present, and interested in answering questions and helping out. I hope this store improves and becomes more like it's sister store that is closing down. If it does, I will be returning.

I lost my wallet in the parking lot and their employee Yuri was amazing! He found my wallet, contacted my work, and got ahold of me to safely return it with everything still inside. Faith in humanity restored! Thank you so much!

Prices are not cheap, but has an excellent selection of plants. Sometimes they even carry some of the rarer plants that are difficult to find elsewhere.

I had a great experience. Impressive selection, helpful staff, prices were reasonable, but not cheap. Quality was high though too.

Staff was very helpful not only with questions about their products but about care & maintenance in general.

If you want anything for your garden, this place has it! My wife and I live in an apartment and so we don't even have any land to plant anything, but this place has so many indoor plants that it makes us want to come back to buy more. Service was great but a little hard to find (we had to go to the very front of the store to get help)

The plants here are gorgeous and very healthy, employees are attentive and knowledgeable, and you can bring your dog with you! It's not cheap, but there is a huge selection of high-quality plants.
