Summerwood is a peaceful place to live at, but now I truly regret buying a house here because of the parking situation! Years ago, they started asking for a $100 fee for a parking permit, but it will not guarantee your spot! My garage can only occupy two cars, and the management only gives one parking permit per household and if you need more, they need to review it first. So if you have multiple cars/no parking permit you have to park on the other side of the street or else your car will be towed. We found it very inconvenient especially during rainy season, plus IT IS NOT SAFE AT ALL. My daughter is a working student, she usually goes home late at night and she doesn’t feel comfortable walking alone since there are some crazy guys out there.no wonder why the houses in our neighborhood is always on sale!

Very happy that I was able to move out. Stay away from this greedy management, they will ask you to pay for a $100 parking fee but it is not guaranteed that you will receive a spot. Then a few months later, they will ask you to get another permit but with different rules, another payment, and etc. The HOA fee keeps on increasing too, but nothing is improving. This is the only place where you can’t park in your house. Reviews here are all fake, and this association is corrupt.

Most of the houses’ public parking spots I know should be first come first serve basis. But not here, you have to pay $100 every year for you to get a permit, and it is still not a guaranteed spot for you. If you have spare cars for emergency, forget about it. They will only allow you to get 1 permit, and the board has to review if they will allow and give you another one. I’ve seen a lot of houses for sale because of the very poor management here. Not to mention, there is a HOA fee that is almost $200 per month. I wish I could turn back time, and didn’t bought a house here. Hopefully I can sell my house and move out. If anyone here who can read this and give a legal advise please do so.

Even though you're just a visitor you will get a towing notice for not having a permit and you will be subjected for towing the next day. I find it very ridiculous for the management to be allowing these kind of situations. This is one of the worst parking rules and management that I've seen.

Definitely not enough parking to accommodate guests and extra cars from homeowners. You can buy permits, but they DO NOT guarantee you a spot. It's a nightmare every time when trying to find parking. Many cars end up parking outside houses, which end up getting notices for towing.
