I would like to take the time to thank my college. As I started my program, we went through some challenges and many changes.from upper management down to instructors which made the program a bit challenging. Nonetheless, as things settled it was evident that these changes came into place to benefit the college and its students. I love the fact that the new classes will benefit from the ATI program from the get-go, this will be so helpful as they prepare for their NCLEX exam. I am grateful for all management (Dr. Lamour as well as Ms. Magan) my awesome amazing instructors that helped, mentored, and were genuinely there for us as a class and invested in our growth. Mr. Zamora, Ms. Jen, Mr. Obillo, Ms. Idehan. I am forever grateful. Ms. Geia thank you for your prompt assistance on my new resume as I am changing careers. Starting my new job soon!

Went this so called school back in 2010. They never helped me get a job and I was stuck with a big bill.

I would first like to thank the amazing staff and instructors for being so nice to me while I was here. Mrs. G gave me all the needed material and helped me with a bunch of skills. Then I had an amazing new teacher, Mrs. Wilson. She's a big supporter and very good at explaining everything in ways other teachers wouldn't. I also would like to thank Mrs Robin for helping me with job preparations and finding my site fit for me. This school is a wonderful place if you are interested in starting a career and getting the needed skills and information.

Very unprofessional School & staff! I was a term 1 LVN student that unfortunately had to transfer. I pray they figure out things for current and future students. Many situations were handled very unprofessional and poorly by current teachers and higher up staff. I do not recommend going here for any program!

Attended the LVN program here for a few weeks and unfortunately I definitely did not enjoy my experience here I had to drop the program and find a better school to continue my education because of all the unprofessional experiences here everyone from admin to teachers where unprofessional and administrator handled various situations very poorly very unprofessionally and in most cases ignored many situations I suggest to anyone considering coming here to find a better school around in the area and to not even waste your time trying to get into any of the programs here

Please! & I mean PLEASE! DON'T TAKE YOUR COURE HERE!
Lets just start off by the teachers are very unprofessional, they have no patience and they DO NOT know how to teach. This is not public school where you have to go. You are paying for the course and their time is being payed for as well as I am paying to be there and be taught what I am going for. Teachers have their favorites there and if you are not one of them.you are going to fail simple as that. This has been addressed to the admin and NOTHING is being done about the situation. Let me clarify that It is being addressed by multiple students and instead of doing something about it, they brush it under the rug. Proof of favoritism have been given to admin and Mr. Ray is still not being accountable for his actions. We are paying for equal education and we didn't sign up for situations like this to be happening especially since we are paying for our education! This is a very frustrating experience not only for me but for others that are experiencing the same situation. So, please let me save you your time and MONEY and DO NOT sign up with this establishment! If I could give the most negative stars possible I would. NOT professional and staff are not held accountable for anything.

I would first off like to thank the wonderful staff and instructors for being so nice to me in the 9 months I was here. The LVN students are such nice people and always give a smile. Mrs B gave me all the needed material and helped me with a bunch of skills in only the 2 months I was in her class. She's a big support and her energy is so bright. I also would like to thank Mrs Robin for helping me with job preparations and finding my site after my first week. This school is a wonderful place if you are interested in starting a career early and getting the needed skills and information.

The people leaving a lot of the positive reviews are people that work there. It was a horrible experience. Most teachers were good but Mrs. G is a horrible teacher/person. I would not feel safe having her as an actual nurse. She’s very manipulative and gets a kick out of lying on students. Be very careful when it comes to your nclex documents… I experienced multiple issues when it came to the school handling my nclex documents. This school is ridiculous. Go to a different school. A community college would be your best bet.

Very unorganized to say the least, however all my teachers were awesome!
Mrs. Jensen and Mrs. Gottenbos were really the advocates for all the students. The school did not have clinical sites dedicated for our class, yet Mrs. Gottenbos went above and beyond to secure clinical rotation sites for us to gain some real world experience in the field. Mrs. Jensen had an “open door” policy that was super helpful. She was always available to assist students with whatever hurdles they were facing and never made you feel like a burden.

I just completed my MA course there in December 2022, My MA teacher Mrs. Gutierrez was the best instructor ever! She is very patient and helpful. She is caring and kind to everyone and makes sure everyone feels welcome in her classroom, she keeps everyone in order and makes sure we all succeed in her class. Another individual that has made my experience at summit great is Mrs. Robin who is our job coordinator and she is amazing, she is very helpful and makes sure you are satisfied with your job after graduating and makes sure to always check in to see how everything is going. LOVE U BOTH Both of these women are the reason summit has made it great for me!

I am currently enrolled in summit, so far my experience has been EXCELLENT! I've been hearing all the hate comments, and its true the past skills instructors have done a terrible job, but Summit is changing as all things should for the better. My favorite teacher Mrs. Abby, Mr. Zamora, Mr. B are changing the whole system. Mrs. Abby is passionate, motivated, and goes above and beyond when it comes to our learning from fundamentals to skills labs, she uses all her knowledge to make sure every student understands and masters the skills that we must learn to move on to clinicals. Thank Mrs. Abby your heart and passion for teaching is one of a kind! Mrs. Abby uses kahoot, and laid back teaching style to make us all comfortable but still teaching us everything we need to know. She deserves all the respect in the world for what she does for us as a class:)
Mr. Zamora the master of ATI, your passion and organized techniques really help you understand NEXT GEN questions that will help us all pass NCLEX!
Mr. B, your knowledge and passion for teaching us how to be a good nurse and a good student and of course your sense of humor will stay with us forever!
Now Mr. Timbol, he is an excellent teacher! He is new to our campus but he has so much knowledge to give and does it well. I look forward to learning from you even more in the future.
Yes, Summit College San Bernardino, is a great school! But the truth is all these instructors are what makes learning possible and they are the real heros that run the school!

Wishing all staff and students the very best of the future to come.

I would like to first start off by saying that everyone’s opinion and experience about Summit College is different… However, I’m currently in the part-time LVN program. There has been many changes to lots of past issues or concerns about the school. For my experience is having the best admin team to support my concerns and make a change for the better. The admin ladies that are very helpful are Mrs. Rosa our campus manager, Ms Magan, Elba and the new DON Dr. Lamour have been a great team in making sure all students have what they need to succeed or any questions answered in a timely manner. Right now, I have one of the greatest teachers in the first term which is called Fundamentals and her name is Ms. Abby, RN, BSN. She goes above & beyond to help our class understand what is being taught and will answer any questions to the best of her knowledge, she is a very smart teacher that comes from great experience at Loma Linda University and has an excellent team of teachers who are also nurses. Ms. Michelle, RN & Mr. Timbol, RN and Mr. Báez who we call “Mr. B”are great and full of knowledge, not afraid to get up and help teach. There’s also Mr. Zamora, RN who is a great teacher and he teaches the terms 2 & 4 for the part time LVN courses and is very knowledgeable of our online learning software called ATI. This ATI program is a great learning tool as it prepares you for the NCLEX exam to get your state license. I’m happy I chose to continue my career to become an LVN here at Summit College!

Welding course is Very expensive, cheap gear that I had to replace out of pocket within a week. Very repetitive curriculum.
Hidden charges, after course completion $331 for books that were returned. I had attended 9 mos and never heard I owed money until I asked for a transcript. They are using that 331 to extort me for my records. Did I mention this ripoff costs 17k? 17k that I had paid in full from the start. Do not attend this course.
They also randomly stopped the course, without warning, for two weeks. Supposedly, so they could align all the “campus’s start dates”. Bottom line this is a for profit school that doesn’t teach the technical skills needed and could care less about the student.
