Summit House Restaurant reviews
19The view, the service, and the food were excellent. The decadent desserts were fabulous. Celebrated our daughters birthday, and the meal provided a memorable event for her special day.
We were there for our New Year's Eve Dinner. It was very nice and had a wonderful time. Just 1 complaint. Having brought a very nice bottle of Champagne, our server never poured to refresh our glasses all evening.
Decided to go again on the evening of the new year. Ordered a 160.00 bottle of wine. Once again the server never came to our table to pour our wine. I think this reflects on the training from the management. Besides that, we had a wonderful time.
Quintessential prime rib house, quality of the rib is decent, but it's hard to find something unique to distinguish it from any other prime rib houses. Yorkshire pudding was a little on the dry side, and the creamed corn tasted more cream than corn. Overall is a decent meal, and priced for its service and location on a hill.
We had a wonderful time, our Xmas party was awesome. Our food was very tasty, the restaurant is beautiful with great views of the OC. We highly recommend this place. Hilda and Sal Patino
Sit next to the fireplace!
We come here for the atmosphere and beautiful service. The food is flavorful and delicious. We just love it
Great Holiday decorations at Summit House. Sweet corn is very good. Our bread is under proofing. The scallop is amazing, though I think the bacon is too salty. (Some may like it).
The main course Prime Rib is okay to good. No The best I ever had.
However, you should go there at least for the Christmas decorations and the Christmas Carols.
Still as good as my first visit back in college. Service is always great. I've been visiting on my birthday the past few years. My go to is always the Cottage Cut Prime Rib. It is always tender and delicious. I always sub out the creamed spinach for mashed potatoes. Their truffle fries are also a must! Thin and crispy! Would pass on their bone marrow mac and cheese. It was underwhelming.
Tip: Check their offers section on their website! Sometimes they offer prime rib specials on Wednesdays. (Promotion is currently going on)
A five star raring restaurant Summit House deserves. Location is amazing to begin with. Valet parking is offered complementary (don't be rude and tip your guy).
Their specialty is the prime rib and they nailed it. I order a cottage cut (name for their 7
The ambiance and service is great but the food is overpriced. I had salmon and wild rice which was just okay. The rice was overcooked. However, the French onion soup was so delicious.
Super good oak tasting chicken. Service was great, definitely would come back again. Picture is the Rosemary Garlic Rotisserie Chicken.
Soo yummy! I highly reccomend to get the scallops and truffle fries. We had so much fries leftover we took them home and had them with breakfast the next morning they were just as amazing. Just reheat them in a skillet with olive oil and voila.
The scallops appetizer were probably my absolute favorite.
There is something in the spinach that I wasn't a huge fan off but overall the dinner was amazing.
My mother, brother and family ate here a couple of weeks ago. The food was very very salty and the ambience is so loud you can hardly hear your self think. They won't return.
The yorksure pudding was burnt (not at all tasty). Felt very rushed - removing things from the table before we were even finished and didn't bother asking. For the price I thought my piece of Prime rib was on the small side.
It was a great first experience at the Summit House.
I ordered the cottage cut prime rib which came with corn au gratin, creamed spinach, and the Yorkshire popover. The cut was delicious and perfectly seared!
Overall we had a good experience here and I would definitely recommend this place!
Our server Jordan is too good at his job. Even busser Cesar was a cut above, bringing us bags for our to-go containers without us asking. Every bite, from the bread to the salad to the soup to the Castle Cut of prime rib of beef was deliciously sublime. The tender bite of filet mignon I tried felt like it could have been cut with a fork.
Everyday is a reason to celebrate. The rib eye melted in my mouth! The view from a dining room booth just really puts the dinner experience over the top.
Most romantic restaurant I've been too,! Beautiful relaxing ambiance with piano music and fire crackling, ribeye steak could have used a little more seasoning but overall I still give it 5 star
The food was delicious. Every bite was savory and my tastebuds were amazed. Taylor and Alvaro were very attentive and genuine. Happy staff equates to happy service.
The prime rib is excellent. Warm, professional, friendly staff. Beautiful views. Delicious bread pudding. Popular so make a reservation. Worth it.
